Re: The Music Thread

Cobra Starship Just this past weekend my Nephew was asked to go on tour with them (so excited). Maybe not your kinda music, but my family is thrilled. A wee bit of background (really bragging :D For a long time he was the drummer for As Tall As Lions (aka/ATAL) and they performed all over the world....

Re: Tail Light Assembly & Fix

Okay thanks guys. Hold & pull, it is. I pray this fix makes the brake light "shine again!"
No way would I trade a 150 for a 125 pcx,....but the other way around? Thinking about that now, but most likely not doing ;) It's "White" after all :D

Re: Tail Light Assembly & Fix

gn2 I looked at your bike links, thanks for sharing them. Newly announced Sym is interesting. I checked all the bikes weight/heights. For me, the seats are a bit high and some too heavy. I went to local Piaggio dealer anxious to see and sit on the Beverly 350. Really nice but seat too high, and oddl...

Re: Tail Light Assembly & Fix

Taz thanks for the tip. The silicone insulation is on really tight. Geez, is it heat shrunk on there? I thought about holding a needle nose pliers at one end while pulling at the other end, but then decided to ask here first. I'm a bit fearful of tearing it and maybe even damaging the connect...

Nice line up, baby bear to papa bear. Choices...choices, whatever suits the occasion/mood...nice! Check out Maddie! On your mark, get set......and off (a bit too soon perhaps? But oh so adorable ;) I'm trying to guess which vintage Honda scoot is out-of-line in the forefront

Re: Tail Light Assembly & Fix

I did the brakelight switch today but I'm at a standstill now. All the panels I mentioned earlier were removed in 20 mins (that was the fast part) then things got tricky snaking and routing the switch wire down to its connection behind the meter panel. It's in the right location now but I can't get ...

Re: Tail Light Assembly & Fix

I hear ya gn2...it is a crazy consideration  Plus, I really love my white with gold hues. Still...., I'm thinking about it. Why? The ability to keep up with the flow of traffic (60 plus), having a nearby service dealer, and I'd be hoping to transfer my present Extended warranty with the purcha...

Re: Tail Light Assembly & Fix

Oh yes....I had fun at the dealership today, shot the bull for an hour. Sat me bum on a traded in T-Max, and a Vino (I know, crazy power extremes). T-max to heavy for me (bad back) and Vino like a feather. Saw a red 125 PCX and discussed trading in my 125 for a 150. Spoke to bossman, he worked the n...

Re: Tail Light Assembly & Fix

arnie? not ta-day, that was yesterday  Now I have it, it's different. All parts to it are fitted tightly together and NO threading is showing on the new cable switch (see Dave's photo and mine, both our cables show some threads sticking out). I'm betting there were problems with some of the mid...

Oops, forgot to mention that I bought some 2" wide reflective tape to put along the full length of each side as boundary markers to be seen with peripheral vision. When one is caught up in the job, accidents can happen, this may prevent one from stepping off to the sides and tripping over the r...

Thumbs up Dave! :) I appreciate all your help & the pics! qed's photo of the switch area was not "a-look-alike" to ours. I really appreciate your help to "sausage fingers" :D Surprising how the smallest of parts are different from across the lake ( )...okay, okay....edi...
