Re: New user - 2013 PCX 150

Hello, David. Another long-time motorcyclist who is relatively new to scooters (bought ours in February of this year). I thought "the scooter experience" was for those who couldn't handle a motorcycle. I was way wrong. ;) The PCX is easy and fun. It returns about 90% of the bigger bike exp...

Re: Europe trip video

Spectacular scenery and roads... but, the snow, rain, and wet roads made my butt pucker! Mountain twisties are fun, but this southern boy likes his roads dry. Thanks for posting that!

Re: ? for PCX150 owners

we gave them Austin Powers (Yeah, Baby!) Mike Myers was born in Canada to English parents. this great country. Now that's what I call wishful thinking. I didn't say we gave them Mike Myers. What we gave the world was a parody with Austin Powers. If someone thought every Englishman was like that cha...

They can only get to you if you let them get to you. They are so envious, they have to add unnecessary vowels to their words... apparently, it colours their sense of humour.   I understand roots. Re: bad mpg with heavier riders?

My experience is: weight and drag make a significant difference in mileage. I weigh around 190 and have more "surface area" and weigh than my wife. With a pair of PCX 150s, her mpg are always better than mine. Most of our riding is together (side by side, not together on the same scoot), s...

Re: Day One with my new PCX 150 ! (actually: PCX with an RV)

Captain Jim -- In an earlier post you mentioned that you and your wife get around by "RV and boat" nowadays. I'm considering buying a PCX150 in the near future. My primary purpose is commuting, but we do a lot of camping in our travel trailer here in Oregon. We pull it with a Dodge Durang...

Re: Day One with my new PCX 150 !

Another 60ish rider who has found renewed riding fun with the PCX 150s we bought about 2 months ago. I know I am getting older... today, my wife said, "Let's check there," (pointing at an SAS shoe store). Yeah, I bought some shoes there. They didn't have anything that would fit my wide fee...

Re: Bought New PCX150

Hey, Wolf - your new scoot will handle that trip just fine. We added the Givi (mid size) windshields to our scoots - it takes the airflow off your torso, but does direct it around your helmet. Here's a photo... Stock... http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z440/eiwiz/WS2_zps09f35a2e.jpg With the new ...

Plenty of options to take care of the time... I'm partial to that OEM look. Being a retired guy, I hardly ever wear a watch anymore. ;)

Re: A green picture of George Washington

In a business we used to own, we would occasionally survey current customers to learn what they most appreciated and where we could improve. The response ratio was always better when we included something to show our appreciation for their time. We did a crisp one dollar bill, but the best response ...

Re: Got my first and new scooter! PCX150!

Congrats on the new scooter - they are big fun! We put the shorter Givi windshield on ours; makes a real difference with pressure on the torso, but you get a bit more noise in your helmet over 45 mph. I prefer a windshield I can see over. My wife and I have been riding for a lot of years, and have o...

Thanx cap'n. That is exactly what I am looking for. Nice OEM design. One question; what size handlebars do we have? 7/8" I was concerned that there might not be enough room under the bar for the set screw, but it goes on slick, SlickVic! (Did that sound like a Dr. Seuss rhyme to anyone else?? ...

I actually came across a site that showed the pcx being raced. I think it was in Japan. I was surprised. Re: How far can a PCX go on a tank?

My flashing fuel light comes on around 120 miles... and I wind up putting 1.2 (+/-) gallons in the tank. From the specs, the tank holds 1.6 gallons; no idea how much of that is unusable.

I have noticed that the last two bars on the fuel gauge disappear much faster than the first two.

Re: PCX150 2013 Fuel consumption

We bought his & hers 2013 PCX 150s. After a half dozen fuel-ups, I am getting exactly 100 miles per gallon. My wife is getting between 107 and 108 miles per gallon. I outweigh her by a pound or 50; most of our riding is side-by-side. Obviously, the weight makes a difference. The worst mileage I ...

We are delighted with our his & hers PCX 150s, but they are lacking one piece of instrumentation... no, not the GPS or satellite radio... there's no clock. I ordered a couple clocks made for motorcycles... http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z440/eiwiz/Clocks4Bikes_zpsf372721e.jpg That's it on t...
