I think there is a small possibility the OP might be dead serious about central locking. It seems to be all the rage in India. Just make sure you use the same kind of locking mechanism/plate and you'll be safe. A Kappa (Monolock) top box will fit a Givi (Monolock) plate. However, a Monolock plate and a Monokey box won't fit (Kappa or Givi) and vice-versa.

Givi top boxes look a little more refined than Kappa.
