Re: Honda Pcx 150 yuminashi upgraded head for 150 engines
Yuminashi does still have a bbk available for the 150 but using an older heavier piston design, there was stock available when i was there in May. There is a new kit about to be released that uses a lighter design piston more suitable to the 150 engine.

Meeting Mr Yuminashi
I was recently in Thailand and managed to catch up with Reggy Bodden of Yuminashi fame. I purchased some parts off him and took advantage of the opportunity to speak to him directly about my plans for my PCX. He is a very nice guy and was more than happy to share his knowledge and experience when it...

Forza ride in Chiang mai
I just got back from a three week tour of Thailand and the highlight of trip was the time I spent in Chiang Mai. My girlfriend and I fell in love with this city from the moment we stepped off the plane. During our time there I took the opportunity to rent a Forza and go for a run through the nearby ...

Re: Yuminashi Pcx 164cc
you can use the cam with stock bore but you will need more fuelling ie throttle body/injector, also you will have probs with camshaft touching the rockers. The rockers can be ground back or yuminashi have rockers to suit. I picked up some parts from reggy a few days ago and bombarded him with questio...

check these out: http://japan.webike.net/products/21398690.html I have these sitting at home waiting for me to fit them. They are beautiful quality and fairly expensive but comparable to decent HID kit. The kit you get is PCX specific and has everything you need.

Re: Takegawa Pcx 170cc
just go slowly with the parts in the transmission, one at a time and feel the change. try to understand what each part does to the power delivery. I changed a few too many parts at once and it developed a big dippy gear change effect when you hit 90kmh and then didnt have the power to stretch to 120...

I was just checking out the new yuminashi site then and it looks good. I'm in Thailand at the moment and am catching up with reggy next week to grab some parts. I might have to grab another suitcase and fill it up me thinks

Re: wanting to change out the bars
mikelx5, did you have to rotate the banjo bolt on your brake lines to get the bars to fit right? i'm in the middle of fitting some wider, lower bars to my scoot and the brakeline hits the bodywork. was gonna do it once i got back from work and just looked at the photo of your bars.

Re: Rear fender removal
you will need to remove pretty much all the rear bodywork, seat included. not hard but a bit fiddly and time consuming. http://www.sportbikelites.com/HONDA-PCX-FENDER-ELIMINATOR-KIT-p/scooter-1.htm these are one of the tidiest conversions i've seen around especially for the ugly american spec lights

Re: Has anyone thought of increasing engine to 175cc?
Have any of you thought about increasing the engine size on a PCX 150 to 175cc? This might be a foolish question. I have no idea how hard it would be and I would have to pay someone to do it if I had it done. Any thoughts? it is actually a very achievable project, check out the kits from sp takegaw...

I used google chrome to translate it and the thread mentions seizures, sparkly flying and 5 star balls . The positioning of the cloth makes me suspicious plus they mention about the timing chains being on different sides.

Re: PCX150 Power Curve
the Internet is woefully missing any pictures of PCX racing. Unless of course all the racing is at night on unused roads in which case it is drag racing. here you go! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUBeQbr4kv4 Yes I found another Mad Max video before I posted my comment. Kinda the exception that pr...
