Re: Scooter Loan Question
i think it all depends on what you want to accomplish. in order to boost your credit you'd probably have to keep the loan for at least 12 months. After that you need to determine the difference between what your interest rate is on the loan vs the interest on the bank account. Our credit union pays ...

Re: Honda PCX side Car PIMP MY PCX
It would be nice if they at least sold the plans for the sidecar. It is really, really nice! Yes, we do have that horn. Our Jack Russell Terriers love to tear them to pieces. I guess they sound like a small creature or something, especially when they hit the high notes.

Re: Seat
Actually, no you don't sit further back. If you want to sit further back you should look at their other seats, the ones without the hump. My wife is only 5 feet tall so the new seat is just right for her. For longer legged people I would have to say that the hump-less ones will be your best bet, esp...

I use to do that, but back then they called it a controlled crash!

Re: to AVOID on the road
Well one thing to avoid here in Georgia are the cars with no brake lights. There seem to be lots of those. It is as though once they buy the car they think they shouldn't have to do anything else to it until the day it quits completely...and then they wonder why it quits. Also avoid the 'soccer moms...

Re: Givi 323 tall windscreen
We don't have the tall one on ours and wish that we had, but we solved the problem just the same. Looking at the screen on Baskoza's scooter, it looks a little different from maddiedogs. Maybe they changed the design.

Well we have 3 Jack Russell's that would love to ride with us. This would be a way for them to do that.

Oh, I get that. I bought a Knight Rider sequencing light for ours and installed it above the tail light under the tail overhang.

Re: A green picture of George Washington
Well we missed out on something. We got the survey but not the dollar! We were the first to buy a 150 here I think. We thought it was nice of them to ask our opinion, but then they didn't give us a place to tell them what needed improvement, except when they mentioned the seat we gave them bad marks.

Re: movin on up
I am surprised that your dealer said not to bring it in until it hit 800 miles. I believe the book says 600. We brought ours in at 600 and they had to adjust the valves. It costs for them to do that because they have to take off almost all of the Tupperware. We put my Burgman 400 in at the same time...

Re: Gas to put in my PCX 150
I live in Georgia and we have 10% ethanol mixed in ours. At 87 octane the bike has no trouble running at all. We have both a PCX and a Burgman 400. My Burgman manual says not to put premium in. That leaves either 87 octane or the middle grade, which is 89 octane. Keeping in mind that we have the 10%...

Our numbers have stayed between 95 and 102 MPG. Can't complain about that. I do wish it had a larger gas tank though.

Re: Got my first and new scooter! PCX150!
I am sure that these scooters aren't fully broken in at 600 miles. We now have 2500 miles on ours and it gets up to speed quickly and stays there with little effort. After going g through what I have with the windscreens, I would have to suggest the tall Givi vs the standard one. My wife is only 5' ...

I can't help you much over there as I don't know what is sold over there but from my point of view, and I am a retired computer engineer, I would go with the Dell XPS that maddiedog mentioned. Very nice machines. At my house we have a MacBook Pro, 2 Dell desktops, and a beautiful Home Theater PC tha...

Here is the link to the Harbor freight site. These are the tools I use. By the way, I have found that if you want to temporarily hide the scratches until it is convenient for you to change out the body parts, fingernail polish or even model paint will hide the scrapes. Hope this helps some. http://w...
