Local Honda dealer advised;- Give it a couple ''hard'' accelerations from a standstill to de-glaze the clutch plates /shoes

I use a DataTool alarm ....remote arming and connects direct to a permanent feed from the battery ....Cost me £60 in the UK from Demon Tweeks ..
Easy to fit but you need to have some knowledge of body panels removal ...and buy some body panel removal tools ( £1.50 eBay )

Thats just what the Honda dealer told me......a few weeks after I went in to buy a new one and they told me then it was a great idea as it saved the enviroment by saving fuel use...... just think they couldn't be arsed to undertake the warranty repair ...unlike another local Honda dealer who gladly ...

sounds like a battery fault. I had exactly the same problem with mine. First check the battery connections to see if they are secure. Then get the battery tested and if faulty replace it. Mine was due to not being used...the battery was not holding a charge...The idle stop functions senses the batte...

buy a brand new bike......then try and see what its top speed is ???? receipe for disaster waiting to happen...Let it bed in / run in....slowly and carefully....done properly it will run for thousands of miles...done incorrectly ....a new engine / new bike very quickly

I didn't want to leave this in the air in case anyone finds this via google. I have not actually finished the job. But I have stripped it all down and taken off the original ignition switch. The job is not that hard - but it's a pain. If you have never taken off the fairings before it's a pain. Som...
