Re: key stolen

Why not just buy a wheel lock or chain and padlock for around the wheel. You can keep it under the seat when riding. That's an idea. How much do they run? If it's less than 50% of the price of rekeying, I would seriously consider it. Any recommendations? What do ya'll use? I would really like to ha...

Re: key stolen

Just a question, but did you check with the lost and found (or front desk) at the building you were in (or those close by), or call the police department to see if anyone dropped off a set of keys. I ask because a friend of mine had parked his cycle in a rather rough area of Salt Lake City one time...

Re: new member

Just a quick hello. I have had my scoot for 6monfs and it's now on 3500mls, I ride it 6 days a week to work and it's great. I'm getting a 110mpg week in week out( got to be happy with that). This is my first scoot as I have been on bigger bikes for 15yrs, the thing that makes me laugh though is the...

key stolen

So I did a bonehead thing today. I was at a meeting with the city this morning, but I was running late and I forgot some things. Like my bookbag, my gloves, and oh yeah, I forgot to take my key out of the ignition when I parked it. And why are city offices always in the worst parts of town? 15 minut...

Re: New saddlebags

Hi Phil, I actually ordered the same set of saddle bags and they arrived last night! Except, I did manage to get the straps to work going under the seat. Then I put both buckle straps under the tail and it's really solid. Takes a little more effort to get the seat closed, but that's okay. It took a ...

Re: New PCX owner

glad to see so many other short riders out there! (I'm 5'4) I think I will go for the D322ST now - especially after a couple of you guys around my height has vouched for them working well! I also decided to buy the D322ST. I was able to get free shipping, maybe because I ordered saddlebags too. Wil...

Short people got no reason to live...

gse123 gave me a great idea for this poll! I see a lot of threads about tall riders and their hump problems, but I like my hump, thank you!

Loading capacity and techniques

I balk at starting yet another thread on "carrying stuff in/on your PCX" but I wanted to see if anyone else had this train of thought, and how you went about implementing it. First of all my PCX 150 manual states: Maximum weight capacity: 348 lb (158 kg) Maximum luggage weight: 29 lb (13 k...

Re: Your thoughts on these color combo's

I also like the first one best. Then again, I'm partial to the stock arrangement for white and red. Black is just all black. :(

Re: New PCX owner

gse123, I'm there with you. There's so many choices, and I want to make sure I get the right size for my height. I'm 5"3' with a short torso... At 55mph+ the wind hits my chest so hard that if my collar is fastened, it nearly chokes me! Not a problem at lower speeds. And I always have to lean f...

New PCX owner, new bike rider

Hi all, I've been lurking this forum for a little while, and just got my new 2013 PCX last Thursday! I'm hoping to eventually read all the old posts, but first, to maddiedog: Just wanted to let you know I saw this forum first . I think I was googling "pcx top speed" or something similar. I...
