Re: Help with 2019 Honda PCX125 Wind Shield Kit

I just installed the National tall windshield on my 2019 PCX150. I do believe that all you need is the windshield itself. Give it a try before ordering the kit...I don't think you'll have a problem. Just go slow when you remove and reinstall the V-shaped trim piece.

I'm looking forward to hearing you opinion once it's installed. I have the same bike and am looking forward to your impressions.

Re: Favorite two wheeler

In 57 years of riding, three come to mind...in no particular order. 1980 Harley Davidson FLHS. Stripped Electra Glide. Hands down the most comfortable riding position of any bike I've ever owned. 600 mile days came easy. Toured all over the West with my wife. That bike had the personality of a Golde...

Re: Dark coloured dipstick

Beats me.
My Subaru has the same thing going...the dipstick is phosphated, so it's black. I buffed it off around the applicable area.
You have to wonder what they were thinking.

Re: close call on my new zuma

When I'm in line waiting for the light to change, I always leave plenty of room between me and the car ahead of me and watch my mirrors...you just never know. And if I'm on the Triumph I'm in gear with the clutch in. Saved me more than once.

Re: Has anyone seen what Honda is offering us now?

My thoughts exactly. Aside from the suspension- which would be nice in San Francisco- it leaves me cold. I'll stick with my PCX.

62mph seems about right...I have the identical machine.
But give the little guy a break and run him in before making those "high speed" runs...

Re: anybody riding?

Yup.
Took the lil' PCX up the Great Highway in San Francisco to the overlook above the Cliff House and watched the sun sink into the Pacific. Simply beautiful!
Back home thru Golden Gate Park...actually spotted a coyote on his evening rounds. I wished him good hunting.

Re: anybody riding?

When it's not raining in San Francisco, I'm using my PCX. Yesterday groceries, trip to the vet for food for an older cat, and hardware store. Very useful little machine.

Re: Should I Replace Stock Tires Early?

The IRC tires on my US spec 2019 150 have a nasty squidgy feel in the damp. Seeing as how the poor little thing is used in the San Francisco city limits exclusively, I think I'll replace them in the late fall before the rains start. Streetcar tracks, potholes and roadwork are not good for scooters, ...

Re: Minor crash

Ah, San Francisco.
We have the world's most unobservant pedestrians. I am amazed that they can find each other to reproduce- oh, that's right, they use their cellphones....
Not to mention the LRVs and their tracks...

Be safe out here!

I don't use bungee cords anymore...I've had them let go too often. Then again, I have a friend who lost his eye to a bungee hook years ago.
Just my humble opinion, but I think there are better alternatives.

Re: I couldn't do it

Went out to breakfast this morning here in San Francisco. As usual, I wheeled the PCX out of the garage, put the helmet and gloves on and... Wheeled it back into the garage. Rolled out the Bonneville and took off. Glad I have both, but for me there's an itch that scooters just don't scratch sometime...

Same here. I've always thought that the sound was coming from the belt. Mainly hear it on the overrun. These bikes do make odd little noises.

Pretty much the same with my 2019. I ignore the silly thing and simply park carefully. The hills in San Francisco make this a must do anyway...

I have a '19 and average 93 or 94 mpg. My riding consists of 100% traffic jamming in San Francisco. The poor little thing never really gets out on any kind of open road...
