Looking to buy a 2015 Honda Forza w/ ABS
What should I be looking for on this particular model? It’s only got 2000 mi on it. I know there was a recall of sorts, but I’m not sure what it was even for, or if it could be done after purchase. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Re: Aramid Power Reinforced Drive Belt Fit For Honda PCX150
My local dealer had the belt for $32. Sometimes they surprise you.NeroM wrote:My experience is limited to one belt change.
The OEM belt was around $40, with shipping.
Aftermarket belt was $30-35,
Seems like a small difference over a few thousand miles ?

Re: New Old Stock 2015 Forza ABS Owner
Thanks all for the replies. I checked on the Honda and NTHSA websites using my VIN. I know there were recalls for the 2015 Forza, but both said there are no recalls for my machine. I received the new windcreen and put it on: https://i.postimg.cc/crSvmS1D/WS.jpg It makes it much more freeway friendl...

Re: Truthfully, how often do you check your oil?
Haven’t had it long enough, but I know that if I check it more than once a month, I will end up cross threading those plastic threads on the dipstick. I would check it much more if I knew it was burning oil. So far so good.

Not to sound like a know-it-all, but they teach you in Motorcycle Safety to always use the kill switch to turn off the bike, then the key. It creates muscle memory if your throttle sticks that you don’t panic and instinctively know what to do.

Re: drive belt change
Not to hijack, but I’ve also wondered if there is a shelf life to these belts. I know that mine is original and my 2013 only has 2800 mi on it. Is there a time when the belt gets old and should be replaced?

Re: Hi everyone... NCY Variator kit?
Yes, that's what I meant by the flywheel = drive face (I used the wrong word and can't edit it). I replaced the 3 parts listed below NCY Variator Assembly (Golden Pulley);NCY Drive Face (Aluminum); 13G NCY Roller Weights (20x15). I took it out for about an 80 mile trip(s) today and noticed toward th...

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
As mentioned, take care of them.....although....have been negligent about the valve check. The way its running, actually getting some of the best MPG readings now. Broke 130 mpg recently. Still ride as usual. Don't think its still "breaking in" ....do Ya? : ) Currently at 51,230 miles. No...

Re: Hi everyone... NCY Variator kit?
Just changed to NCY Variator, Flywheel and 13g rollers, but used the same belt that I had as it was under 3K miles. Not sure I like what it's doing. Take off seems less than stock, but top speed was 70MPH, but only hit that once. I'm not sure if the belt is worn prematurely, or still needs time to s...

I have mine listed at $2200 with trunk and windshield in my area and I haven’t had any bites. People expect them to be given away here.

I think if I would do it again, I would have started from the back and work my way forward around the nose portion of the seat.

Re: Seat recovering ‘how to’ guide
Just got back from a 60 mile round trip. Seat held up well, so did my backside. Lots of room to move around and shift if necessary. Can use the slanted footboards as “highway pegs” to make a mighty comfortable ride. Nice job. I've been through the same procedure. You skipped over the comment about ...

Re: Seat recovering ‘how to’ guide
I filled the space with foam knowing that I was going to flatten the plastic. It was all or nothing kind of thing. I was going to try to soften and push them down without doing any cutting and realized that the plastic would have bunched up too much to be a flat structure for the foam to sit on. Hav...

Mel, I'm sorry to hear that life is treating you harshly. Thanks for posting pictures. I love the extra lighting you have done. Do you have directions or did you figure that out for yourself? Re: Seat recovering ‘how to’ guide
That’s fantastic, Jburner! Great photos, too. Very helpful in understanding what you did. I expected the rounded front end to be a PITA to cover without stitching in seams. You did an excellent job, there. Well done. Very interesting seeing the seat once the cover is removed, especially the foam pa...
