Re: Creaking windshield??
Non adjustable Givi and rubber washers are both inside and outside. Seems to be one side. I’ll try to tighten it and see if that makes any difference. The OeM small screen didn’t make any noise, but then again, it wasn’t much of a screen either.

Creaking windshield??
I installed the Givi windshield on my new to me Forza 300 and I notice that it creaks a lot while riding over bumps etc. What did I do wrong on installation? Too loose? Too tight? Does it take some time to form to the bike? Any tips on how to get rid of that creaking sound?

Re: Questions from a new owner
1. Can be adjusted per the shop manual, but I would get it done by the dealer when you take it back in there for the first check. 2. There are many power outlets available on Amazon and the like, just do some research, you can then run it down to the power adapter if you want , or splice it into th...

Unfortunately, until gas prices go up again, I don’t see scooter sales picking up in the US. SUV’s are popular again.

Re: Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!
Well, that couldn’t have gone any easier... 2 panels off, old damper off, new on and panels back on. Never been so excited for a seat that stays open. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the engineers didn’t just make the seat so that it can go all the way open and they wouldn’t need the dam...

Re: Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!
Ended up ordering the newer part number for the”upgraded” -932 damper/shock from my local dealer and he ended up being less $ than I could get it online. Now to figure out how to install without disassembling the whole bike.

Re: Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!
Here is an easier way to keep the seat up. No removal of parts , risking breakage, and easily replaced if necessary. Video below about one minute and shows the installation.. http://mimed.io/s/5a61tg0jkdo0h6mgoul4saq7j3 Resurrecting a terribly old post, but this link doesn't work. Is it possible to...

Re: I have trouble going over 50mph, rider issue, not mechan
Thanks for the comments everyone, I really appreciate your opinions. I agree it's in my head. I "feel" uncomfortable. I know that I am able to ride at higher speeds, but it feels uncomfortable to me. I am slowly working up to it. I've been riding short distances at 55mph. So far I've only...

You need a windshield that goes up far enough to block the wind. Then you’ll have the opposite effect. It will feel like you are being pushed.

Re: Changing antifreeze and brake fluid
I get it. Just wanted to gain an understanding of how these brakes worked vs the PCX which didn’t have the rear bleeder. It’s all good and brakes are bled and ready to go. Thanks for clarification. I don’t have the service manual yet so needed to know the info.

Bleed Air From The System
With the Scooter on the center stand and the radiator cap off, start the engine and let it idle for 2 – 3 minutes. Snap the throttle 3 – 4 times to bleed air from the system.
Stop the engine and check the coolant level.
Add coolant up to the filler neck.

Re: 2015 Forza 300 getting hot in traffic
Hi ... no just the reserve cap ... I don’t know where the rad cap is ?! It's right up behind the front wheel on the left hand side as your are facing the front of the bike. DON'T OPEN IF THE BIKE IS HOT! This will help you tremendously... https://www.arnoldsolof.com/2018/10/10/honda-forza-300-coola...

Re: 2015 Forza 300 getting hot in traffic
Which cap did you open? radiator or reserve? Radiator cap should be opened because it's the highest point for air to escape if any in system. Did you rock the bike back and forth a bit as well to work the air up and out? Did the system take anymore fluid from the reservoir?

Re: Changing antifreeze and brake fluid
Thanks glencoeman. Then what is the bleed screw for in the rear? That's what I used to bleed the left hand side master cyl or do you have to bleed both for the left side?

Re: Changing antifreeze and brake fluid
Just got my new to me 2015 Forza 300 w/ ABS and want to bleed the front caliper. I found out how to do the rear. I don't have a service manual (but would really like one if available in PDF), and was wondering which bleeder screw goes with what reservoir on the front caliper? Can anyone point me in ...

Re: oil filter
Resurrecting an old post, but discovered today that FRAM makes a filter that is up to the same specs as the Honda Filter. FRAM XG6607 and is sold by Wal-Mart for $9. If there isn't a dealer nearby or want a bit of a break on pricing, check this one out. http://www.silverwing600.com/t9544-oil-filter-...
