Thanks Oldie, location updated. So I got all my connections ready, found the battery, took one look at the transformer that came with the Garmin and though forget it, its it's not going to be hardwired
The cradle has been modified so I can use the mini USB into the 12v instead.

Hi there, I have mounted my RAM mount to the rear brake reservoir. (or rather Honda did!) they didn't drill any new holes, they just used the two holes at the front of the RAM bracket to secure. My old TomTom was fairly heavy and it stayed secure on there no bother, no leaks from the reservoir that...
