Re: Forza stutter at take off but also a bit after take off
There is an insulating material inside the black cover that deteriorates over time ,shedding to the metal cover. Same on mine. Don't think its
a problem.
a problem.

Re: How many miles did you go until you changed belt?
OEM for the "Forza" belt [Honda Dealer] close to $180.00. Economy of scale.
That's one big advantage for the PCX. OEM [PCX] Parts, so much cheaper.

This is the best price for original Honda belt that I've found. With shipping to USA about $80.00

Might be worth a look..... into being reimbursed. Warranties on "environmental" equipment are generally longer.

Re: Forza stutter at take off but also a bit after take off
Near 17,000 miles on my Forza and have the "judder" issue not at take off but "in between" disengage/engage. Still think its the clutch pads needing cleaning. Hope to get around to it. Probably worth it for you to get the proper tools to check for your self. Does seem strange for...

Re: Boss Drive Face stuck
Just a mention on the clutch bearings.......Bought my PCX with around 2300 miles [with the bearing issue] 50,000 + miles later, replaced it. Not recommending you wait, but as you noted, its quiet/not an issue, while under way. Always parked my PCX on the center stand [once home] and spun[tested] the...

Re: New 2014 Honda Forza
Used to hate windshields...........think there is a "sweet spot" where they work well......takes some trimming occasionally. No need to trim the tall Honda Forza windshield, for me...... [5'7"] . So nice in colder weather, and enough of a breeze in the hot stuff .... w/o the bugs. Man...

Re: Forza 300 Drive
Over 16,000 miles on my Forza........no complaints. Cleaned up the drive at about 8,500mi. Due for a new belt but will likely hold off till winter is past. Changed oil/filter @ 8K intervals as recommended. Judder hasn't been a problem. Probably a good idea to stay after it with 5,000 mile [drive che...

Re: winter ride
I'll drink to that...........some hot tea or cocoa [after the ride] Here is an ebay link to something I place much more worth than their cost. Have had heated grips, snow mobile gloves..........nothing has worked as well for me as these muffs in conjunction with decent gloves. Along with insulated b...

Either you are stronger or I need a new pair of snips...... Probably both. : ) Thought of using my dremel tool but feared a slip/damage to the wheel. Probably a wood wedge would solve that?? Anyway, took my Buck knife and cut the circumference of the tire [maybe 2-3 mins] and while not as effective ...

Re: Possibly a helpful tip.. FYI
Thanks Easy Rider...been there /done that. Also think it was you [not sure] that had the tip for cutting the tire all the way around [circumference] to ease removal from the rim. Wow was that an energy saver! Leaves more energy for installing! Plenty of lube helps there. Also, if you don't have tire...

Re: Just bought NOS Forza 300 ABS
Am blessed to have both Forza and PCX. For me......the short rides are more fun on the PCX. The Forza is more capable, comfortable.
Love them both. Hi Limey.......can't private message but still have Forza Manual.

Re: How many miles did you go until you changed belt?
Approx. 16K, 19K and 20K miles. Not worth savings/risk .....really. Assumed because I'm 160 lbs
and ride at lower speeds on country roads, better chance of getting away with it. Another member
who rides similarly, broke his at close to your mileage [think] . Wise to change it.
