Re: What have you done to improve the PCX suspension?
Tried the cheaper YSS [XL] specifically designated for PCX. Mine do not have the external reservoir, like the ones Judge 64 has. Was disappointed. Wished I'd saved my money. Pretty harsh ride but...love it anyway. Pick my roads carefully. Also have a seat pad that helps. Have heard others claim the ...

Re: 2015 PCX 150 sounds like a Rod Knock
Just want to vouch for the Walmart full synthetic 10w30 oil. Many trouble free miles. Understand you wanting to "go by the book" now though. Hope it turns out to be something else [minor]

Was thinking about my nearly 20 something Bikes, from past years... maybe....an unlikely choice. 1980 Kawasaki KZ 440 Was an air-cooled parallel twin cruiser w belt drive. Just a good all around-er for me. Vibration yes, but not annoying. Back then, usually had 3 bikes in the garage...... and the KZ...

Re: Belt grinding issue
Swapping the bearings will save you $$ as long as you have the means/tools to install them. Looked again at the price of the
assembly with bearings installed...........a bit over $40.00 [us] Don't forget to add the required grease in the bearings.
Think your plans will solve the issue.

Re: Belt grinding issue
Think OEM parts are best.........I'd swap it out.... if it was mine [assembly with bearings already installed] Only about $30.00+ USA.
Should be cheaper in Thailand. Agree the belt looks good but thinking you could get that pretty cheap also.[oem] Good luck.

Re: Bake Fluid and final drive oil
Correction.....the fill bolt is on the side, above the drain bolt. There are two bolts right next to each other. The left one is the fill.
[Right one secures the parts together.......no need to tamper with that one]

Re: Bake Fluid and final drive oil
Do you have the owners manual? The final drive is at the rear axle with a small reservoir with oil for the gears.
There is a fill/check bolt on top and a drain bolt at the bottom. Surely a search on this forum should help.

Re: Windscreen question
Think you nailed it with taking it off [tall shield] and trying w/o it. Its a trade off. Less wind pressure on your torso [with some additional turbulence] I ride all year so most of the time the tall shied is my preference. You really don't need to buy the original [short] shield ..........just rid...

Re: CVT filter
Figure summer would be the time to try it, if at all. The cvt filter on the Forza gets coated with leaf bits/grass etc. and dust.
Will probably leave well enough alone........maybe clean it more often, especially in the hot weather.

Re: CVT filter
Thanks Paul...........Since heat seems to be the drive belts worst enemy, and the PCX does just fine w/o a filter, was wondering if the filter is actually needed. Suppose if one rides in sand/dirt,maybe. Have to think that the PCX belt probably runs cooler since there is no filter to impede air flow...

CVT filter
My scooter experience is limited to The Forza and PCX. The Forza has a cvt filter....PCX doesn't. Just curious, this is so. Thinking the "trash" missed by the PCX just exits the rear opening at the CVT cover harmlessly....so it seems. Checked the other threads....could have missed it?? Sta...

Re: Wanted to ride, battery almost dead
ZX12R definitely needs a pigtail connector.............The switch to AGM batteries.......great improvement.
2013 PCX/2014 Forza still going with original batteries also. Too bad the tires don't last that long.

Have a 2013 PCX. My pads made it to 38,631 miles. Not much stop &go.
Mostly back road riding. Often depending on the engine decompression.

Since servicing the clutch rendered a temporary solution. Replacing the bell and shoes should solve it longer term.

Re: What to do when the wheels are off
The rear wheel will go back on much easier if you loosen the back brake adjuster before install.
Don't forget to snug the brake back up after install.
