Re: Poor gas mileage with Honda Forza 300

Since you say it's your daily runner, maybe it's not getting up to operating temp enough. [averaging a bit over 1300 miles a year] Fill it up and take it for a long ride and avoid high speed. Keep it under 50 mph for 50 miles.......you may notice an improvement. High speeds and not getting it warmed...

Re: Tyre valve gone!!

Haven't experienced but, it is possible to replace the valve with out removing wheel. A large c clamp [properly placed] can move the sidewall
enough to replace the valve. Not the easiest job but it can be done. Might google "changing tire valve on M/C without wheel removal".

Re: Back tire has a slow leak I can't find. What to do?

Noticed a slow leak in my front tire [about 2 lbs a day] Knew I had hit a pothole recently, Hmm.......took longer than it should have to discover where the leak was. Took a large C clamp and [tire deflated] had a look and see. Was expecting damage to the bead but appeared to be some organic debris t...

Re: PCX will not start - Growl!

Intermittent problems suck. [been there] May be the pump?? Before taking it out, see if you can find the wires that go to it and hot wire it with + and - source. If it doesn't make noise, you've found the problem. Might be a good idea to check the fuel pump fuse.... in particular, and make sure there...

Have you tried to duplicate the symptoms while on the center stand? You can check [run] it with the trans cover off also. Good luck.

Re: PCX engine noise common?

Agree the valve adjustments last a good while. The possible culprit may b the trans [variator/ramp plate/rollers] It's kind of early for
something like that to go amiss but it's worth a check. If you bought it used, previous owner may have tinkered with those parts??

Re: 1st spark plug change after 28,000 miles

Had a similar experience.......except my plug was hard to remove. Must not have installed it properly?? Carbon built up on the threads. Figure to leave the new plug in there till it "acts up".. It may take some pb blaster and patience next time. Hoping it lasts another 30k. Important to fo...

Re: Bumpy Ride With New Tires

Some times the tire isn't "beaded" properly. There should be a line around the circumference of the tire, about an 1/8 inch from the rim. Make sure that it is a consistent distance from the the wheel, all the way around. [Check both sides]. If the line varies you'll need to reseat the tire...

Don't know if the 2016 Forza was post fuel pump recall. Mine [2014] was bought used and hadn't yet been replaced. Re: Front Wheel Removal (and reinstall)

The key to tire removal/install is lube. Wherever the trouble is........likely not lubed in that area. Also helps if the tire is warmed. Sometimes the lube dries before you expect, so keep it near by. Agree..........the videos make it look so easy.......Maybe they cut out the blooper section! : ) I ...

Re: Front Wheel Removal (and reinstall)

It's simpler than the rear wheel. As you said .......protect the brake [a spacer/wedge between the pads, once the wheel is removed helps] No need to remove the caliper but..... it helps to open the space between the pads a bit.......before reinstalling the wheel......Maybe someone else has a video l...

Back [no pun] in the day, Riders wore a wide leather belt to relieve that problem. Maybe more useful on longer rides.
