Re: Patiently Awaiting my 16.5" NC Windscreen

I just got my screen. It looks beautiful, but it’s too late and getting dark to install it today and take quality pics. I plan on taking before (14.75” screen), and after installing (16.5” screen) pics tomorrow.

Patiently Awaiting my 16.5" NC Windscreen

My NC extra tall screen is due to arrive by end of the day today. My 14.75" SC screen works fine at getting the wind off my chest and onto my upper helmet. The reason I ordered the taller screen was because of the noise I get sitting at my natural riding position. When I duck approximately 2&qu...

Re: Leak Test Ride

I guess your right when I compare it to my old Honda Elite's storage. I have a medium Shoei RF-1200 Vessel. It fits, but just barely. I have a 40L topcase though for plenty of storage. Here in USA, I believe the 2015-2018 models are identical except for the colors. It's the 2019 models just released...

Re: My First Oil Change

Thanks Jge64, My 2016 Owners Manual states: Pg 13: It says to use recommended octane number (Lower octane gas will result in decreased engine performance), don't use fuels containing a high concentration of alcohol. Pg 35: Unleaded gas only, pump octane number 86 or Higher. Pg 106: Some fuels are bl...

Re: My First Oil Change

Good question, I don't believe the manual says that. It's what a few of my buddies put in their scooters, so that's what I put in my last scooter. I guess it's because I believed it can only improve performance without harming your scoot. Plus for only about $0.20 more per gallon it's reasonable. It...

Leak Test Ride

I went on a short leak test ride after my oil change. I stopped and picked up the essentials while I was out. I didn’t want to exceed the weight limit of my newly installed topcase so I placed my refreshments in the underseat storage. I love how practical and convenient these lil scoots are! Check o...

My First Oil Change

I purchased my pcx with 1332 miles. The guy I bought it from didn’t changed the oil and didn’t know if the original owner ever did. I changed the oil and replaced the crush washer today at 1420 miles. There wasn’t much in the oil filter screen so I suspect the oil has been changed before. This scoot...

Re: Swapped 40L Givi Topcase

Ya I noticed that you had the same case. So when I researched the Givi site, they had a specific rack (SR1123) for your Forza. But they only advertised my rack as: “SR1136 MONOLOCK SPECIFIC RACK”. Understandingly it was confusing. So anyone who wants to mount a MONOKEY Topcase to their PCX CAN use t...

Swapped 40L Givi Topcase

I swapped my 40L Givi topcase from my Elite to my PCX. I decided to drill out my tailpiece for a cleaner look. I only had up to a 1/2” bit so I had to dremil out the rest of it to fit. It was very time consuming, but it looks alright and I’m happy with it. I like pics so here’s some more (I’m new he...

Re: A Pic of My Scooters

Sadly I cannot afford to keep both, so I gotta put Lil Red up for adoption. Anyone want a new red headed step child?
I’ll post her up for sale soon with better pics.

I’ll install it in a few days, hopefully it’ll fit w/o any problems. I probably will just remove my panel and not drill it.

New Givi Topcase Rack

Hi, just got this today. On Givi and Revzilla’s site, their description on Givi’s topcase rack is: “SR1136 Monolock Specific Rack”. So since I already have a 40L Monokey topcase on my elite, I was discouraged about looking any further into this rack. Long story short (after emailing Givi and just lo...

Re: Starting age

41, I got my Elite in January and my pcx last Friday. I had a Yamaha tw200 for a short time in 2009-2010 but had to sell it. I’m short so I only considered bikes with short seat heights. Scooters are perfect, short and no shifting. Someday I might look into the Honda NC 750X (preferably the 750S if ...

Re: Installed Givi rack and case

I currently have the Givi 40L (V40NA) topcase on my Honda Elite. It's the heavier duty Monokey series though, not interchangeable with the Monolock cases. I would like to install it on my 2016 PCX, but I can only find info for the Monolock rack (SR1136). I sent them an email asking which rack works ...

Re: "Owner's Manual" PCX150 2018-UP

Thanks whitenoise, I just ordered a 2016 owners manual from Helminc for $24 (after shipping). I was about to get the 2018 manual, but I’m willing to pay a little more for the correct year. I can’t wait to read up about it.

Re: New Member Here

Cool man, thanks. I haven’t navigated the whole site yet and found the for sale section. But I’ll definently post pics when I get a chance. I gotta sell the Elite so I can buy stuff for the pcx. It’s real clean I wouldn’t think I’d have a problem selling her. But as we all know time is valuable and ...

Re: Second ride in my new 2016

Man I love scooters, they’re so practical for where I live. I wish I got one when I first started working where I’m at now (thousands of people have to pay btwn $6-8 parking everyday where I work). Not if you ride a motorcycle/scooter you can park for free! My Elite and now my pcx have been my best ...
