Re: Front Forks Install

This is how the old forks looked when I got my bike back after 6 years in a very salty environment. I decided just to replace both forks rather than rebuild the existing ones as I found a pair of almost new ones for the price of the re-build parts. https://i.postimg.cc/4dNH3L5Q/Honda-PCX-Front-Forks...

Front Forks Install

I just replaced the front forks on my 2018 PCX using the excellent video by @MicBergsma. I find Mitch's videos very easy to follow and relaxing at the same time 8)

So, thank you Mitch for making a daunting task relatively painless !

Seems to be fairly straightforward once you have removed the plastic guard.

Re: Fitting a Faco Windscreen to an SH Mode

Nice job. My SH Mode has a screen made from assorted parts that I had lying around but it still works. In terms of the bike itself, they're vastly underrated and the performance isn't much different to the SH 125 considering the price gap. Mine is a bit of an old beater but the previous owner had in...

The SH39 is just about perfect for the PCX. Looks good on your bike.

Re: Michelin City Grip II - NOT HAPPY!

My PCX has the original City Grips and they are very good. My SYM Jet 14 has City Grip 2 which are also great. I also have a J300 with the 2's and have no complaints. However, scooter forums across the globe always have those who don't like them, in fact some hate them, so it must all be down to per...

Re: 2025 PCX 125 Windshield solution

Yes, Puig do make very good screens and the ones you mention will fit just about any small scooter. I recently bought the Puig Traffic windshield for a Kymco Agility 50cc and I noticed that there was a wide variation on prices being asked, so best to shop around.

Another happy Forza owner. Really well screwed together. Great package. Still in showroom condition after 16 months although I do like to pamper it.

Re: what was your previous job?

IN the early 70's I worked in a Victorian thread mill in my home town as a semi-skilled engineer responsible for day to day maintenance of the twisting frames shown in the pic. I had around 60 of these to look after and the heat and noise were way above anything which would be tolerated these days, ...

My 2018 Forza 300 is also a year old and remains a joy to ride. It still looks like it did on Day 1, but is a bit quicker now. Really is a lovely piece of engineering.

They were Borrani rims, made in Italy 8)

I had a Trophy 250 a while back. Great bikes, very punchy, but I could never get the hang of the old Brit foot controls :|

Microfibre cloth - secure it to the bike with velcro.
