Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I have my pcx now exactly two years, at this moment the odometer says 15000 km or around 9300 miles. Will be adding around 8000 km each year as I now use it every day for my commute. Plus maybe another 2000 km a year because I simply love riding it for fun, I sometimes come up with reasons just to t...

Other possible scenarios of forgetfulness:  ... 2) You put your new sunglasses on the top box while you put your full face helmet on. You start up the bike to let it warm up for a bit. You think about where you want to go. You get on and ride. Good-bye sunglasses. .... Had exactly the same wi...

Re: Indicators not working
@Lafree: Thank you for this information; I just checked on the Belgium Honda motorcycle website for any recalls and entered my VIN and it states the following: "There is a recall action/update for your vehicle: * Pcx125/150 genuine honda top box detaching * Lcu failure" With LCU probably b...

Indicators not working
Hello, As title says, the indicators sometimes do not work (with sometimes I mean in the past 6 months twice... does not seem a lot but can be quite frustrating - from now on this will be one of my pre-ride checks everyday). On this forum I have read many times to clean the switch etc. Those two tim...

Re: Truthfully, how often do you check your oil?
I commute with my pcx 250 km each week and I check it once a week. Doesn't take that long but I am lazy. 14000 km so far and no problem whatsoever.

Re: dr pulley rollers / sliders
I have 13.5 dr pulley sliders in the stock vario this works best for me. I tried the Dr Pulley Vario V211501 as i said but it was no good. , for me 13.5 seems to be the sweet spot. :edit: read also: https://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9101 after installing the dr pulley variator and a coupl...

Re: dr pulley rollers / sliders
I have to agree as well, dr pulley sliders only made the top speed go up by ~10km/h. I installed a dr pulley vario as well, went for some couple of rides and decided to go back to stock. Reason: even on idle throttle the belt would catch and still give some power going forward, no smooth 'linear' ac...

Yes congrats, Great news Ganglylamb! :P Still be gentle to your body 1.5 months ago was not that long ago (what I'm saying...be (more) mindful). Which thumb is it that pains you? Say it's yer left? Right thumb :| - I think it would be less of a problem if it was the left. After the last ride I thou...
Re: Today
Today I took the pcx out for a ride after my lowside crash of 1.5 month ago; still got a painful thumb and I occasionally drop my fork/knife while eating because sometimes this finger does not want to play along. I managed to ride for 30 minutes without having too much pain so goodbye iron cage for ...

This is our cat Sammy; he is also known as professor Fluffy, fat one or lazy bum depending on the time of day you encounter him. And as all cats, he also likes to jump into boxes hence the next picture :). fluffy sammy.jpg He even posed so we could compare with how he looked when he was a couple of ...

Re: Frustrated iron cage drivers
I can remember seeing my bike go in a different direction than I was going, and wondering where it was going without me. ... It is like being on the outside looking in and commenting to myself. Perfect description of how I felt at the time. One time I had a "get off" in a rotary (roundabo...

Re: Frustrated iron cage drivers
As of now I will have to join the iron cage drivers again temporarily. Not due to bad weather but due to a lowside crash with the pcx at around 50km/h - was in the port area near my house and there this patch of road which is somehow very very slippery. Once it nearly went wrong there and as of sinc...

Re: Anyone has or tried dr.Pulley variator?
Ok, I realize I am replying to myself but it might be useful for other people so here goes. I decided to buy the above mentioned dr. pulley variator. It came by default with 15gr. sliders which state it should be good for good acceleration and a slightly higher top end (at least it says so on the we...

Frustrated iron cage drivers
So today coming back from work, as usual I encounter several traffic jams which I beautifully (legally) lane split between. When getting up to the red traffic light, the car behind me starts revving his engine. Seconds later he creeps up to me - I guess only 10 cm away from my license plate. Light t...

Re: TUCANO URBANO TERMOSCUD - Which one, R202X or R082
It's up to you but I think proper waterproof riding gear will be better. I suspect you will too after a while. x2 I also use the PCX for my commute (25km one way so a similar distance), so far I have only left the PCX at home when it had snowed (2 days) - at this moment I've done ~12 000km on it ri...

@MadSteamer: I hope you are still lurking around on this forum; anyhow here goes. I finally got my obd2 adapter, got the torque app but nothing is being read. We all know performance tuning is a delicate balancing act - I might have taken that quite too literal.fish wrote:Ganglylamb wrote:Oh I forgot: 3) i only weigh 70 kg

Re: OBD2 on Honda PCX that works!
I imagine there is a small microprocessor in the 4 to 16 pin connector, probably the signals are somehow serialized and/or multiplexed so unless you know exactly what order of bytes (i.e. low and high signals) etc. are coming out and how they should be translated into multiple channels it's a lost c...
