It worked OK, but would drain the battery if not used for a few days. In the end I did away with it and bought a huge chain instead.

Re: How to install GPS Tracker - SinoTrack ST-901L
I just connected red and black to the battery terminals and tucked it down the side of the battery.

Re: Valve clearances
I did my own valve clearances at 8000 miles. Checking the valves took about 5 mins, but getting the plastics off took over an hour, then another hour to replace them.
And typically, the clearances were spot on!

Valve clearance done!
I'm having to self isolate, due to my daughter catching covid, so I'm using the time wisely. My PCX 125 has just hit 5000 miles, so I thought it was about time I bit the bullet and got the feeler gauge out. Stripping the plastics was time consuming, but I didn't want to snap any fixings, I found tha...

I can't see why the complication and expense of a rear disc brake is needed on a lightweight scooter.
I find the rear drum brake works just fine.

Re: One Year Living with the Honda Forza 2018: the Bottom Li
I went in to my local Honda dealer recently, hoping to test ride and maybe purchase a Forza 300.
However, they had sold out and the salesman told me that Honda UK had run out of stock too, due to the slowdown of manufacturing due to covid19.
He said my best bet was to come back after Christmas!

Re: Back tire has a slow leak I can't find. What to do?
I had a slow puncture on my car, so I removed the wheel and sprayed soapy water over both beads but couldn't find a leak. I went all round the tyre, checked the valve but found nothing. As I was refitting the wheel, I suddenly had a brainwave and sprayed the base of the valve where it met the wheel ...

My Piaggio 250 Evo has a factory fitted immobiliser which makes it unuseable if stolen.
The PCX however is a very popular scooter with the scrotes, and is highly nickable!

I took my 2018 pcx for a fourty mile run last week, and managed to squeeze out 150 mpg at a steady pace.

I've just carried out my first 12 month service on my 2018 PCX, and the mileage was 1605.
It's living in a garage with three other bikes of various sizes, so doesn't get used a lot of the time. At this rate, it should outlast me.

I own a 2004 ford Mondeo, and amazingly it still has the original battery fitted. It's used regularly and still has no problems starting in the winter.

I can hardly see the point of a hybrid, when a stock 125 will do 135+ mpg or more with a gentle right hand.

I've fitted city grips on my Piaggio x9 250 Evo, and they've been superb. So I was glad to find them fitted to my new pcx when I went to see it in the showroom before purchase.

My scrooge-like nature won, and I did my own first service at about 520 miles last week. £75 for less than a litre of quality oil is too much for me to stomach, I'm afraid. I bought enough Shell fully synthetic 5w30 sufficient for five oil changes for £20. And yes, I love this little scooter too! :D

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty fussy about servicing and getting everything just right, so maybe I'm worrying about nothing. Anyway, I took my scoot for a good run tonight and everything was fine. The level in the header tank was just above max when I got home due to the expansion of the coolant wh...
