Sounds like the noise I get from mine. I did ask about it on here and replies seem to think it was normal...
It's likey to be noise from the valves "floating" when under no load.
I fixed it by turning up the volume on my Bluetooth headphones

Re: PCX Valve Adjustment
Just checked mine yesterday. Considering how many people say its a lot of work i found it fairly easy. Takes at least twice as long to do on my quad. Anyway my intake was 0.9 and exhaust 0.24 mm pretty much bang on spec although I did adjust the intake back to 0.10mm . 970 miles on my scoot and did ...

Brilliant, the UK one has got the new bodywork quick release levers. I shall investigate that further in the next few days as I'll be fitting a top box and screen to it :D Is that a Vespa next along :D Nope no vespas in them pics. Although one did filter past us 5 mins before taking pics lol. Diffe...

Extra performance with large screen
So after buying the tall givi screen i noticed an immediate boost in acceleration but didn't really think much of it... I decided to do some testing and it seems the difference is quite big. With the oem screen i can get to 62 but any head wind/gradient put me back to around 55mph . With the tall gi...

Dave in ref to your last sentence above, responding time does time out. How many minutes does one have? I'm not sure, but I do know a way around losing all that you type. ... I've not had a "time-out" issue since I checked the "keep me signed in" box when I logged in. What I do ...

Re: What To Do...? Muffler Rattle...
Thanks Dave. If no pictures of the interior exist then that is what must be done and, if it still rattles I will have little choice but to cut the end off and look for a broken weld there. I may have located a local welding shop with sufficient expertise to weld such thin metal. I'll report back wi...

You could have a local welder put a couple of tack welds on it first to see if that fixes the rattling?

Looking though my service manual right now... Change oil at 600 mile. Idle speed ,valve inspect, brake fluid ,brakes, and pretty much everythung else isn't done until 4k miles. Final drive oil done after 2 years... There is nothing other than oil change due at the 600 mile service according ti my se...

Re: Overfilled oil. Did i do any serious damage?
Manufacturers stipulate what time a job takes. They don't necessarily allocate the same times per service as each other. Ergo despite the hourly labour rate being the same, the costs may well be different. I get that, But there's just no way honda can say it takes more than 1 hour to change the oil...

It is fair, yes. It's called mitigating risk on the main dealer's part. We'll agree to disagree on that one... I apologise for being a bit prickly over the "stealer" issue. It's based upon personal experience of being called one myself. I'm a Property Developer, so I'm sure you can imagin...

Re: New pcx owner from u.k.
Maybe you should have just ordered the mid high one and left the tall one alone temporarily. It only takes a few minutes to swap out windshields, so you could have tried both at different times of the year. Oh well. I wasn't happy with the size anyway so don't think I would have kept it on as it wa...
