Re: New humpless seat just arrived
Excellent B4 & After photo's and you gave us a video too! Seat looks awesome on the scoot and it does appear to fit snugger than the stock (profile pics). When you ran your hand over it I could hear the texture of the vinyl, Not smooth. That's a good thing! I can't tell from the photo about the...

Re: Scooter Apron/skirt
Well, I didn't really like the thought of having some sort of skirt around my waste that may fly up at any given moment when I reach speed.....So, I went ahead and bought a pair of cheap chaps (Cabela's Boar Hide™ 1,000-Denier Chaps) through Cabela's. They will work just fine for what I need, namely...

Re: New humpless seat just arrived
Does the new seat change the seat-to-ground height at all? I would love to find a seat that would be about two inches lower to the ground. I'd gladly give up interior storage for a lower seat height. It really doesn't seem to change the seat-to-ground height. Just a heck of a lot more comfortable. ...

Scooter Apron/skirt
I'm looking at purchasing some sort of scooter apron or skirt. At this time, I cannot afford the premium Tucano Urbano Termoscud ($128+, and that doesn't include shipping). I found one that is priced right ($39.95), and ships from the U.S. from PeakScooter. Was wondering if anyone is familiar with t...

Re: New humpless seat just arrived
Looks a much neater job than mine tbh I bet these guys do hundreds of these seats a year, at least. With those numbers, trial and error alone would eventually result in a job well done. Does the custom seat have less room underneath it, or same as stock? They both appear to offer the same amount of...

I like the first one.C-Note wrote:Any thoughts on any of these color combinations. I am thinking about doing one of them just for something a little different. Personally, I like the first one the best. Panels are cheap!

Re: Have you got the hump?
I completed my design today and our CNC machine shop (in house) will machine my clear polycarbonate piece tomorrow. I hope to add this to the bike and provide some photos later in the week. It'll take me a bit to fine tune this but I do believe that a new item can be made to allow any rider unbolt ...

Re: New humpless seat just arrived
That looks Really Sharp Phil! I hope you'll give it a worthy try before you decide. Ya know, It will look even better on your scoot, a keeper appeal :) You could switch 'em out when you want? I'm trying to figure out the material used...textured vinyl? Is it non-slip? Do you know If they used S.S. ...

New humpless seat just arrived
The humpless seat that I purchased from http://www.powerbypcx.com just arrived today. I have to say that I am impressed with the quality! Not exactly sure what I'm going to do with it just yet, as I think I have become accustomed to the current stock seat. :? Considering I shelled out over $170 for ...

Love the look! Would be great to see pics of the helmet and scooter together when you are done.djcat wrote:Ordered from the same guys, delivery to the UK takes two weeks. Will tape chequers like the ones I have on my helmet to the scooter, in white reflective should make a nice contrast with the black paint.

Re: Got my LEDs fitted!
Product available from http://www.ja4x4.co.uk - £110 delivered inc switch. Result 8) Love the look and the increased visibility it offers! Sadly, I just shelled out over £120 for my new hump-less seat (which should be here any day now). Will be adding those LEDs to my want list though. Thanks for p...

Re: Helmet reflective tape
Thanks! As far as reflective tape/accessories on the scooter itself, how far have you all gone? I like the GMAX helmet so far. Well, other than the visor fogs up like crazy. I've put some anti-fogging stuff on it, so far it's working fairly well. Oh, and WhiteNoise, it's a small world, I was born in...

Helmet reflective tape
While my helmet is white, I wanted to put some reflective tape on it so I was more visible to drivers. Instead of just slapping some tape on it, I found a reflective decal kit from Applied Grapchics ( http://www.reflectivedecals.com/ ). The decals came on two sheets with a page of instructions. The ...

Nice! I'm having buyers remorse now, probably should have checked around the local upholstery shops first. Oh well, too late now. Great job on getting a terrific looking seat for so little money!
