Re: New Member in Arizona

I like that one too! I posted this on another website also, and was told that this is a Magical Racing part with a Honda sticker on the front. For those interested ~~~> http://www.moto-works.jp/bikes/pcx125.html It's slightly higher than the stock screen. I love the look of those mods, but they are...

Re: key stolen

I forgot to take my key out of the ignition when I parked it. And why are city offices always in the worst parts of town? 15 minutes into the meeting, I realized that I didn't remember taking my key out of the ignition, and in a panic, ran out to find the bike still there, but no key. And yes, I re...

Please do post, I would like to see where you have the straps going across. Maybe it's just a matter of placement, and then I could get the seat latched.

Re: New Member in Arizona

Hey, Phil! Do you know which one you're getting? I don't know brands except Givi but I do know I don't one that's too tall, and I think I want a smoke colored one. I'm actually looking at the one that Taz has, the ermax +25 with the trim. Again, it will be a bit before I actually purchase it, but t...

Re: Handlebar muffs potential dangerous?

After giving these things a try, I've decided that my good old pair of winter gloves are a much safer, and cheaper option for me.

Re: New saddlebags

Can the straps go under the seat itself instead of over the top? Im sure most other folk put the straps under the seat so they can still lift it up and the seat is still comfy for the pillion! Lol, give me some credit guys, don't you think I would have already tried that? ;) The main connecting str...

Yeah, but the price on those is at least 5 times more than I paid for these ($15, including shipping). Considering I just laid out over $170 for my new seat, have to buy on a budget for the next few months. :(

New saddlebags

My new saddlebags came in the mail today. Installation was relatively easy, but I did have to jury rig the front straps a bit. Only issue is that is really does make getting to the under seat storage a pain in the arse. I'm thinking that this setup will be more useful for my extended hiking trips, r...

Re: Handlebar muffs potential dangerous?

In my quest to get the scooter winter proof, I got a pair of these handlebar muffs. Tried them yesterday and was scared by the fact that they compress the lever! Depending on how I move my hands and arms, the compression was quite significant. Did any of you put handlebar windbreakers on and whats ...

Yeah, mine is pretty flimsy as well. I don't know of any way to adjust it though. :(

Nice, if they are snake bite proof I need them. We only get 3 species of snake in our island and they are all poisonous :( Don't think this pair is snake proof. They did have a few pairs that were, just a bit higher priced though. I'm not keen on having chaps around my private parts  you just ...

Re: new member

Just a quick hello. I have had my scoot for 6monfs and it's now on 3500mls, I ride it 6 days a week to work and it's great. I'm getting a 110mpg week in week out( got to be happy with that). This is my first scoot as I have been on bigger bikes for 15yrs, the thing that makes me laugh though is the...
