Re: DEFINITIVE List of Upgrades for Those Wanting MORE Top S
Always the best answer. Since scooters are built to perform safely. Brakes, wheelbase, weight, reinforced chassis , will need to be added in order to safely add more speed. Need more speed, don't buy that , buy this one over here! Fish I agree. Cruising 60-65 all day long is no issue (7600-8500rpms...

Re: Port-N-Polish Throttlebody
I have a decent amount of experience porting and polishing. I did a lot of R&D on P&P carbs on our Rucks with amazing results so Im thinking if we clean up all casting marks and smooth everything else it might help a bit.

Port-N-Polish Throttlebody
I had to replace my throttlebody due to a bad IAC sensor going back and it not being sold separately. Being im going to have a spare TB, I was thinking of porting and polishing the Bell (Opening of TB) as well as maybe opening up the Manifold as well. I plan to document and share the process. Curiou...

I bought the 4-pin to Standard OBD2 plug adaptor. Only issue is there is no data transfer. Wonder what pins he moved around. Im assuming its the data pin.

Not a big fan of the seat color but other than that, the bike looks sharp. Is the engine the same as the 2014-2018 150's?

Re: Tire size
So I’ve seen a lot of posts about tires. But never a good explanation I had ordered 120’ss for the front and was gonna do the 140’ss for the rear. But I want to know if that’s risky or not? Or should I stick to the oem size? Also has anyone changed they’re bars? And bar ends. ? Thanks :ugeek: I thi...

Take it from someone running bigger tires. One of the best things I did. 140 rear 120 front(i think).
Speedo does read low but no big deal. Rides muuuuuch better and highway feels night and day.

Won't Idle - Bad IAC
So about a year ago, with arounf 1k miles on my 2017 i developed this issue. I took an hour long highway ride cruising around 60+. When I exited, the bike died. Would not hold and Idle at all and would die so I would have to feather the Throttle to keep it on. It comes and goes. I went ahead and rem...

Re: 2019 PCX 150 - Top Speed - Huh?
Late to the game, but with NCY Variator+Driveface and shaved weights I maxed out at 72-73. Then added taller tires and bounce the limiter at 77.

Re: dr pulley rollers / sliders
I can, with a small tuck bounce the limiter on my PCX on the highway. No valve float. Would love to know whether or not I can just as an External CDI and spin this bitch to the moon.
My Ruckus Days stock limiter was 9,200rpms
My stock springs head would see 11krpms. lol

Re: Roller and Exhaust Upgrades for PCX150
I did intake, exhaust and NCY Variator set with 13G/12G weights mixed. Max out at 74 but acceleration is much better. Holds 8k+ RPMS all the way til about 40 then settles down.

Re: Variator weights
Changing weights on the smaller cc bikes like the 50-150cc definitely can help by moving the power band lower so you get better take off speed. It’s certainly not as necessary and the results are not as apparent on the Forza because at 300 cc you have good power throughout the band stock, and there...

Re: Variator weights
Just my own personal opinion. The 49cc fanatics do this best. This is True. I spend 10 years tuning Ruckus bikes.. As for the PCX, I run 13g and 12.5g mixed weights and have good acceleration and 74mph top speed. I plan eventually to start shaving weights so get the RPMS higher while accelerating. ...

Re: dr pulley rollers / sliders
Has anyone ever actually experienced valve Float? I come from the ruckus scene where the limiter is set at 9krpms. Add a CDI and you can cruise at 10krpms for hours no issues. Curious if it might be the same for the PCX
