That is a VERY smooth acceleration curve. Its pretty cool to be able to compare acceleration curves. Thanks for sharing.Rickjds wrote:Bone stock 2020 PCX150

Re: Ankle Biter
I like it. I understand why you did it, and obviously you’ve got some acumen about this because you own Flex Rotary… Don’t know too many people that have that. I do worry a bit about the rear bearing not being supported, but only if I was going to keep something for tens of thousands of miles, and ...

Re: Noob in Need of the expert advice!!
I dont know what "The Knowledge" is but if you plan to ride it 3-9hours a day for 3-4 days a week, I would save an extra 1k and buy one with under 5k miles.

Looks good tbh. What about removing the redundant mounting brackets? Thanks, I know its not for everyone. I also know that the majority of people on this forum care about longevity and MPG. 2 things I dont really care. Im of the mindset that if it breaks, build it bigger and better. ha ha ha. Im as...

ha ha ha ha. I love the hatred for anything Original in this group. Im a form over function kinda guy (with a very well tuned bike). :D I'm not one bit worried about anything going into the CVT or clutch, nor worried about any extra bearing wear due to removing the clutch shaft bearing. Ive run with...

Ankle Biter
So I have always been a fan of Custom CVT covers and/or Ankle Biters. I think it gives Scooters such a custom frankenstein look to them. Even uncovered CVT's look crazy and rugged. So I found a guy Harvey that has been cutting and selling PCX Ankle Biters and instantly bought it. It came rough from ...

Hey everyone. I never seen this poll but that explains a lot. ha ha ha. I only say this due to the stubbornness of people on this forum to highly modify their bikes. ha ha ha. jk I'm 35 in December. Been riding scooters for over 10 years. Started my Scooter journey in the Honda Ruckus Scene. In betw...

The Honda PCX uses a Stator in conjunction with the Flywheel. This is all behind the radiator.150pcxer wrote:

Re: Is it reasonable to take a PCX on a cross country trip
I noticed when riding at 55 for less than 3 miles, that my seat got pretty warm quickly from the engine, as well as I could feel the plastics in the center (by the filler cap) also getting pretty warm through my riding boots...I took this as a hint to back off and turned off to a side road. That's ...

Hi all, sorry for lack of replies over the past couple of days and thanks for continuing to troubleshoot and advise - in the video, I have the button pressed in the entire time, it is cutting out and restarting itself. I'll try and get a replacement battery to test and run the spark test as suggest...

Re: PCX 125 Died Mid Ride
Lets make something clear since there seems to be confusion: If you are holding the start button and it's cranking, that does not mean its "running." If the bike immediately stops when you release the start button, it's not running at all. You are just cranking the bike on the STATOR. If i...

Re: DEFINITIVE List of Upgrades for Those Wanting MORE Top S
Just ordered the NCY variator from corsportusa.com, will let ya know what happens after i get it installed. Just installed the NCY variator, face, 13g rollers & new belt in mine tonight. Definitely have higher acceleration, but top end seems lower. Tops out at 57ish mph. Is there a break in per...

For $70 you are better off going aftermarket. NCY variator is under $70. Much better than stock.

Re: Want to change Brake fluid on PCX150 2018
Suck out all the old fluid in the reservoir, add new fluid. Open bleeder valve at the Caliper then let it flow thru. Once you go thru 2-3 full reservoirs, tighten the bleeder and your are done.
