Re: PCX Tuning 64Mph Cap

Marko, just use a cheap ass Bluetooth dongle what is capable of K-line communications. Mine was like 6usd from eBay. Works like a charm I bought the Kitaco OBD adapter and I could not get any kind of scanner to work including one of those bluetooth dongle. It see's power but no data transfers. Scre...

Would it be cheaper to simply replace the plastics already painted?

Re: Newbie service questions maxed out at 80 :(

If its never been serviced then definitely needs a refresh. I would recommend upgrading the Variator and weights, New Belt, New oil, gear oil and maybe a new air filter. Inspect the Variator. Im going to assume you have some crazy grooves on the Driveface + Variator. My '17 did 70+ with just a varia...

ADV's dont gain much Top Speed like old PCX's with a Variator change. You need to change gears to get above 70.

I can get behind that... Please keep us posted. Im so interested in how this turns out...

FYI i would look into gearing. ADV have horrible gear ratios... If 13-17 models can do almost 80 with very basic bolt ons, I cant wait to see what you do on the ADV. lol

Any pics of Intake? Curious what u run.

Check out the DCR cam that Scooter SwapShop just developed. Brandon over there just Dyno tested it on a stock ADV.

BTW, whats the ultimate goal for this bike? Just crazy acceleration?

Re: 2019 150 USA model 13G roller review.

Anyone changing the weights should invest in a Tach. TTO works great and is small and has a self contained battery. No wiring beside the lead kick up. From what I gathered the sweet spot for these engines is around 8-9k rpms. Keepo your RPMs around there and you will get the best Acceleration and to...

Re: Oil/gear oil

AFAIK the crankcase and the final drive are linked via the airbox vents so might be an idea to use the same product in both as recommended by Honda. What if you eliminated the stock airbox? Would it be better to run Gear oil? Then again I change the oil every 1k miles no matter what, so maybe just ...

Re: NCY Variator RPM Question

I have a 2017 with NCY variator and Driveface. Cruising at 55 I'm around 7500rpms... 65 around 8200-8500. Then creeps to 74-75 at redline before the bigger tires. If you are trying to cruise at higher speeds, upgrade your tires to a bigger size. MUUUCH more stable at those speeds and gives you more ...
