Re: comparison of PCX/SH/Forza 125s
I cant help you with specifics, but I was considering the SHi at first but went with the PCX due to this forum and knowledge in fixing issues. The SH has been around a long time and has been revamped during that time. One thing I do not like about the PCX is the bodywork plastics - a real pain to g...

Re: honda pcx top speed issue
How many miles on the bike? Any service records? If its high mileage I would recommend a belt change if its original or it has a lot of miles. Usually high rpms but low top speed is a work belt or worn rollers. Given that you would need to open the CVT, its highly recommended to purchase a new upgra...

Re: Year and Fuel request :)
What fuel do you all reccommend as i want this bike to last a lifetime! Second question: where do i find out what year this model is from? Cheers, Dutchy As for Fuel, I always run the highest available in my area which is 91octane since its Fuel injected. You can definitely get away with lower octa...

31mph max for a bike that should go well over 50mph? Something is definitely wrong. Return to the dealer and have them inspect it.

What Jge64 said. Nothing a little wire brush and rust prevention spray paint. Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer Aerosol Spray. Then paint it black.

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
You are right. I read the wrong section. Its 800mls.
I would highly recommend drain and refill to get exactly 800mls but If you dont have the resources to drain and fill, a straw or syringe with hose would would just fine.

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
Definitely way too much. Buy a 1000ml Measuring cup. Drain all your oil, Measure it and reinsert exactly 1000mls. Shouldn't take much more than 10 minutes.

Re: Ming’s 2011 PCX125
Yes, Makes a big difference. You gotta buy a complete Headlight assemble. Below ignition switch new panel. And new rear fender and tail blinkers. You can still use the rear taillamp assembly. Most know what JDM means. I was curious how you JDM your lights? Do you mean swap out the stockers for the ...

Re: PCX power delivery problem
There is a reason mechanics charge more when you have worked on the vehicle first..... lol Your best guess is much better than anyone elses when you have put this level of disassembly into the bike. I would recommend going over every single step you did when taking things apart. Could be a loose wir...

Re: LOUD sound
Glad to hear it was just a bearing. I always recommend that when you have some kind of sound like that, remove the variator and see if the sound is engine dependent. If you cant hear it, then remove the clutch assembly and spin the wheel. This isolates the possibility down to the Gear sets in the re...

Re: Bought New PCX150
What size would that be?? .. just for reference. ;-) Essentially you run a front tire bigger than the original rear tire. and go full Savage on the rear with a 140. 140/70 rear 120/70 front You can see just how much bigger the rear is. It also gives you about 3mph on the top end at the limiter. Tir...

Re: Electrical Issue
The taillight bulb might be a dual filament bulb. Could be that the parking light filament went out but actual brake filament is still good. Check the plug with a fuel tester.
Also check the voltage at the battery to see if its maybe low and causing your speedo issue.

Re: PCX battery charging -
If you have a car or a Motorcycle/scooter, you should always have a Battery tender handy. Its always good to have in these situations. Leave it plugged in overnight and should be ready to go.
