The throttle position sensor is separate (TPS). The IAC might have the MAP sensor in it as well.

Re: IAT circuit high voltage
So I have a 2017 PCX. When I was around 2k miles, out of nowhere the bike would stall out at stops. I would have to feather the throttle to keep it on. Cant remember if I has a check engine light or not but don't think so. From what I gathered is the 2017 are a crossover year. They used the IAC sens...

If you are mechanically inclined, I would say remove the Variator to see if you can isolate the problem and confirm its the engine and not CVT related but I dont know if you have the tools/experience to do this.

Re: scratch easily
The entire bike is plastic, it doesn't dent, does it?
Only way to protect it is if you wrap it in clear bra. Shop will probably charge you like a grand given the complexity.

Re: PCX 150 Hybrid Parking Brake
They have a parking brake below the left side glove box/cubby. There is a round thingy that you pull.
Push the center button and it should release. Try backing off the rear brake cable nut completely to isolate the issue.

White smoke usually means blown head gasket. Shes going to have to be rebuilt. Keep an eye on your coolant level.

Re: Burning oil after a change
1.5 QUARTS????? WHAT!!! It takes 800ML which is less than 1 quart. You are waaaay over filling it. Get a service manual. Do yourself a favor and buy a 1000ml measuring up. Drain the bike completely. Measure EXACTLY 800ml and put it in. Wonder if you permanently damaged your engine. Could have damage...

Re: Burning oil after a change
How much did you overfill it?
I cant imagine how just changing oil would cause the bike to burn oil. Is it smoking a lot? What weight oil are you using?

The newer ones also have a 4-valve head vs 2-valve head.
All 150+ models are highway legal.
I have a 2017, but I been eyeing the 2024 but I'm waiting for more color options. I just don't like the wheel size difference but maybe it rides better.

You can run same size front and rear but I would recommend running a larger rear. Gives a more stable ride at speed.

Re: Rear brake totally slack??
How worn were the shoes when you removed the rear wheel? Check to see if the cable is seated properly in the holder where it threads thru the mount on the swing arm.
