Re: Juddering Vibration recently in the cold weather

No problem was found with customers PCX, Honda said they haven't had any issues with this and should continue using it, so he picked it up yesterday. I wish I would've rode his scoot just to get a feel for how aggressive it is. If I hear anything in the future from Honda I'll certainly let everyone ...

Re: Bluetooth communicator

Update after a couple weeks use..... I'm very satisfied. I've found I rarely make or receive calls while riding, but it is a handy feature and people I've talked to could not tell I was riding at 60mph. My daily commute is 1.5-2hr round trip in which I listen to iheart radio via bluetooth, random ph...

Re: Juddering Vibration recently in the cold weather

To the people having this issue, how aggressively have you been riding your PCX? And by aggressive I mean do you ride full throttle a lot or do you accelerate conservatively and rarely reach top speed? I'm just curious if there's a correlation to either riding style or a random thing. I really don't...

Re: Juddering Vibration recently in the cold weather

I work for a Honda dealership in Florida (USA) and today one of the tech's asked if he could take my PCX150 for a ride after explaining a customer was having what sounded like the same issue being discussed here, to compare the two. After riding mine he said there's definitely something wrong with o...

Re: to AVOID on the road

I live in Florida USA, the paint for striping the roads here becomes extremely thick from layer after layer and is as slippery as manhole covers when wet.

Re: Bluetooth communicator

I don't want to start a debate about whether or not this technology is safe, just thought I'd post my experience so far. Looks to me like you already did: We all know it only takes a split second of not paying attention for accidents to happen, and all of this new input can be a HUGE distraction. T...

Re: Bluetooth helmets - any good?

i accept motorbike cops are above average riders but they are able to use the radio set built into the helmet , whilst going on a blue light dash through traffic. They don't do conversation. All they do is pass relevant snippets of information which is directly related to the task they are currentl...

Bluetooth communicator

I bought a Sena SMH5 and installed it in my HJC modular helmet yesterday. My initial thoughts are very positive. After charging for a couple hours, it was very simple to pair with my iphone4s. The few phone calls I've made, the other person couldn't tell I was riding at 55-60mph, and I had no troubl...

Pcxdemon, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate and enjoy reading the results you've experienced modifying your PCX, nice to hear from someone who's "been there, done that". I just wish it was a 150 so I could copy your setup. Keep it up!

Re: Split tire

Once I discovered it, I never considered not replacing it. Not that this is related, but I thought I had read somewhere that the release of the PCX150 was delayed originally because of a tire issue, anyone else heard this? I ordered a City Grip that should be in Tuesday.

Re: Split tire

I tried to edit my original post and add a pic but wasn't able to. I shouldn't say there's zero chance. There are reflectors in/on the road here that I've run over a couple times, would that cause this to split a tire?

Split tire

I've had my PCX150 for 2 months and 3,300 miles later I discover my rear tire has a large split. There's nothing I can remember that would have cause this. I need opinions, defective tire or no? Keep in mind I live in south west Florida, road conditions r much nicer than in areas that have to deal w...

Turn your head, hey presto: mirrors obsolete. Come on man......... It's an accessory that can be convenient at times. Do the math.
