Re: Modern life
Yep. My old pickup Has a dumb metal key, manual windows, carburetor not efi, twist lock front hubs, and a** simple everything else. When it goes I’ll rebuild the whole thing cause I don’t want anything more complicated.

I'm glad it missed you Paul. Getting hit by even an empty bucket like that could be really bad at that speed. I really enjoy your videos.

Re: 2015 PCX 150 sounds like a Rod Knock
The OHC 6 cylinder engines they made in the 60's were junk. Ohhhh man, you had one of THOSE ? .... I think they called Tempest "Sprints". Was a powerful in-line 6 for it's day ..... but no durability ..... didn't the Sprints come standard with posi-traction ? Lots of people just swapped i...

Will soon get to be risky to ride at dawn or dusk here in Pa. For some reason, thats when the bucks get frisky & start chasing doe around. My bud actually got hit by one trying to jump over him, knocking him off his bike. But for now, riding at dawn after a night rain with all the morning fragra...

Always impressed with the PCX
Yeah another 20cc and related hp would be nice and the seat hump should be 2” back, but after another 75 mile ride through the Pennsylvania countryside I’m again impressed how well the 150 PCX handles various roads and conditions so nicely and reliably. I wish I was 18 again instead of 68 and I woul...

Re: Improving PCX rear drum brake
I have no issue with the PCX rear brake and I think the advantages of a disc are nominal anyway on a lightweight low powered scooter. I think the advantages of a disc on a low power light scooter are marketing. I’ve ridden a lot of different motorcycles and scooters over almost 55 years.

Re: 2019 NCY Variator/Drive face upgrade - no improvement at
Check your tire pressure. Also look into a tach. TTO is cheap enough and its a simple reference to see what the engine is actually doing. Another thing to consider is the Drive Boss. I never compared it on the PCX but I know on the Ruckus, different bosses are different length. That plays a huge ro...

Re: Engine stalls at low idle / trouble restarting
I'd try adding some Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner to the fuel; any auto parts store sells it. I once thought this stuff was snake oil, but have learned it works. Not saying it will absolutely solve your problem, but it's a cheap step to take and check off. It even worked on my 15 year old lawnmower wi...

Re: Help: Battery dead after 6month left sitting.
I did not ride my PCX for nearly a year now. when I tried to find a way to charge the battery, I quickly found myself in a dilemma where without power I can't even start the main switch panel, thus can't even open my seat, under which I believe lies the battery. Is there any other way I can charge ...

Re: Front Wheel Wobble
Sounds odd but it’s true. Sometimes an issue felt as “front wheel / tire” is actually caused by something associated in the rear tire / wheel / suspension.gn2 wrote:Check the rear tyre pressure and wear.
Mine did that when it was time for a new rear tyre.

Re: Reservoir tank empty
You’re fine as long as it’s not below the minimum line when the engine is cold. If you over fill it, the excess will just expand out the overflow tube when the engine gets hot - no problem. Hi, thanks for your reply. I think exactly what you are saying is a problem. When I realized that the reservo...
