Re: Texas flooding...

Did you know that the southern states in the USA have no safety inspection on the cars registered in their state? Texas has a safety inspection that has to be done annually. In Arizona, many vehicles can get a 5 year registration, so inspections are not done every year. Just some information about ...

Re: Cold weather and lower top speed & mpg?

The fuel injector line was a joke, you know sarcasm, misplaced logic, whatever else you want to call it.

But Thanks to U2 for the directions for those who may want to try it.
Or, just add a quart of water to your fuel tank, that should do the same thing. . ./sarcasm off

Re: Cold weather and lower top speed & mpg?

I remember years ago people installing water vapor-injection systems in their cars to increase mileage. It seems that increasing the humidity of the intake air better incorporates the atomized fuel. It may have just been another fad, too. Yea, I remember dad running up the RPM and pouring a glass o...

Re: Camping with the PCX! Gear test fit

I installed permanent straps on my bike. When not in use they are tie wrapped together behind the bike above the tail light. I use them a lot. I have a thread somewhere on how to set them up. Installed straps.jpg Mel, I'd like to find that thread. I'll start looking!! BTW, I'd also like to know mor...

I love those Add-ons! Your bike will definitely be visible at night. I do like the under-bike lights. However, and this is a BIG however...I found that when the temperature gets high enough under the seat area glued items start falling off. SOOO, if you are going to put lights where the heat is goi...

Re: New shocks ordered

Ronald5256, We enjoy both of the custom seats we have on our two PCXs. I bought my wife's seat at powerbypcx.com. Mine came from http://www.mpmotorseat.com and I appreciated the fact that I could have mine modified to my dimensions. Several other members of the forum have also ordered modified seat...

Re: My 2013 PCX 150

Hey that's my mouse pad! My son bought a chair at a rent-to-own place and I saw it there and they threw it in for free!! Of course when I told them I was going to use it as a mouse pad, they were both amused and amazed. A couple of them realized how good of an idea it was. Yeah, it's big, but it fi...

Mel, PCX150Rider has the part number in his post. You should be able to get it at any Honda dealer. As for night rides, I go REAL SLOW out in the country. Every light on and my head on a swivel!! A guy I worked with hit a deer with his Judge Dredd Victory bike. Totalled the bike, but he just had bum...

Re: Ah oh...

dgnyberg, That Flux capacitor should give you a bit of zing! If I were in your neck of the woods I would be right over to help with those mods. Go ahead and install the little strobe lights. I now have 6 little ones that are probably 1 inch across each. They may not be seen in the daytime but they ...

First all I have a question. Now that I have changed out the coolant reservoir do I put antifreeze in it or do I remove the radiator cap and start the bike like I would a car...it has been so long since I have had to handle antifreeze that I can't even remember how I added more to a car. Do I use t...

All this talk about "what is this. . ." now I have a project to do. Time to build a mini flux capacitor and mount it to the fuel door!! Some strip LEDs, a controller and some inventive building and we'll see what happens!! http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/itti/?itm=225786646321_product_ty...

I was watching the Barcelona attack and I saw police scooters.
I had to research it, but I found out they are BMW C-Evolution Electric scooters.
They look pretty cool. Interesting specs.

Re: Do you pull ahead of the stop line?

One thing I have "heard" is that a decent sized magnet attached to the bottom of the bike/scooter will activate the sensor. I haven't tried it myself, but it does make sense. I didn't have any problems with my last scoot, but I have had a couple of times the light didn't change. When I do ...
