Re: Custom Seat 7 disappointment
Well you're always going to have an issue with any seat unless its modified because of the frame rails, bodywork, and luggage bin. They curve upwards right where the bump is, so you're limited somewhat on what shape the seat will be. The only real solution I've seen is building up the front portion...

Custom Seat 7 disappointment
I ordered the Custom 7 Seat thinking it will be more comfortable. But unfortunately it isn't. With the original seat, the ergonomics of the seat forced me too far forward. The Custom 7 seat looked flatter, and others on the forum said it would solve my issue. I put it on this weekend with great hope...

What is a good aftermarket seat for 2017 PCX 150?
Hello, I tried to search the forum for previous "seat" threads, but the search term was deemed too vague. I had talked to you guys last year about getting a new seat because I said the stock seat made me feel too scrunched up in the saddle. There was a seat on Biker Bitz that someone recom...

Re: What do you think of my new seat cover?
Sorry, but I think it looks like an ironing board cover. Thanks actually a good comparison. It smells like an ironing board too when the sun comes out and the fabric heats up. Who's idea was this anyway? Oh yeah, mine. Can't wait til my new seat from Homie gets here. Well where is it? You are only ...

Re: When and what should be my FIRST maintenance of my scoot
Oh yeah when it comes to the rear, I would want to use a syringe. It will never come to the rear. My patience with diy maintenance is very low. I was throwing curse words and wrenches just doing my first oil change a couple days ago. Mainly because of the oil sump bolt. So no anal syringes for me.

Re: When and what should be my FIRST maintenance of my scoot
Buying a syringe to add a few extra ounces of oil is a bit too anal for my tastes, no pun intended.

Re: What do you think of my new seat cover?
Still think that white, black or maybe just maybe something to give a stark colour contrast like red are the only things likely to look good. I don't think patterns are ever going to cut it - they'll just look out of place on a bike with no other significant high-frequency detail. That's my profess...

Re: How-To: Oil Change For Honda PCX
How to do an oil change on Honda PCX. Once again, DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional mechanic. Do not take this as professional advice. An oil change on the PCX is VERY easy and shouldn't take more than 10-15 min to complete. Tools and Supplies needed: 1. RAGS. 2. 1 quart of 10w-40 or 10-30 oil. (...

Re: When and what should be my FIRST maintenance of my scoot
And that's why I wrote what I did, YOU NEVER CAN USE THE CAPACITY because you don't know how much is left in the engine. So therefore put in 22 and then an ounce after that until you are half way up the hashes. wouldn't the instructions take into account this factor? I drained the plug and let it d...

Re: When and what should be my FIRST maintenance of my scoot
I think I might have too much oil in my crankcase. I changed the oil, cleaned the filter. The manual says to put in 900 ML. The bottle is 946L. So I added oil from the bottle til there was about 100.5ML left in the bottle. By my math, I put 800ML in. But when I checked the dipstick, the oil is about...

Re: When and what should be my FIRST maintenance of my scoot
Holy crap I feel crushed. I better get going on maintenance. Now I have a sick feeling because I didn't do an oil change at 600 miles and the requirement to do so because of the new engine and metal fragments. Mike don't get excited! Just do your 800 ml oil change (less than a quart) forget about t...
