Re: Most Ingenious Way to Carry a . . .
That pic makes me think that if it's a lot of light bulk then the wind would probably be the biggest challenge. As long as the load stays the way it is it should be OK. . .and allow some predictability in the ride balance. :| On the other hand, if it's a heavier load and there's a lot of irregularit...

Re: Honda Thailand service
I've gotten motorcycles worked on in the past at dealerships and the results were mixed. I did find fasteners that were only hand tightened. I found plastic pieces that were snapped or broken and it made me think that since my life depends upon what I'm riding maybe I should just do the work myself ...

Supposed to get close to 60 F here tomorrow. . .in CT.
Did a couple of 5 mile runs today around town. Snow still lingers on the ground but should be mostly gone by the weekend. . .fingers crossed.
Good video!

Re: Rear View Mirror Visibility
When I installed the OEM Honda tall windscreen it came with new mounting brackets for the mirrors that moved them a bit outward to avoid hitting the bigger windscreen on tight turns. Now that you mention it I remember the National Cycle Tall Windscreen replacement comes with mirror brackets that wo...

Re: Rear View Mirror Visibility
I would rate the mirrors at about a 5 out of ten. They are short stalk mirrors so you see nothing but your shoulders and a tiny bit of what's behind you. I replaced mine with a pair off a 2006 Yamaha V-Star 650. The only reason I give them a 5 is that they stay steady and don't shake a whole lot at...

Hey to all and anyone who is anyone, I strongly urge you to check out these movies if you ever get a chance. . .they are totally awesome and don't get much more real than this. Beyond belief. . .true. . .non-fiction. . .it really happened. The highs and lows of motorcycle racing. . .from the Isle of...

One more thing. . .I actually had a family of mice make a nest under my seat on my Suzuki one winter. . .back where the owner's manual and registration and stuff goes near the taillight wiring harness. I don't know how many times I rode that thing when they must have gone into "abandon ship&quo...

You can still get a Polaris "Indian".
They are just giving up on "Victory".
That being said it's kind of like GM shutting down Pontiac. . .but you can still get a Chevy.

How are the mirrors on the PCX? On a scale of 1 to 5 how would you rate them (being able to see over or around your shoulders, elbows, and arms). I had a bit of a surprise today. . .I was out for a ride on my 49cc scooter just trying to enjoy the warmth and sunshine of the pre-season weather and som...

If you warmed & cooled the engine over winter (never do it) condensation in the crankcase, dump the oil. Get that old stabilized fuel burned off completely and put some fresh 87 octane. Good point about using up last year's tankful and getting a new fresh supply of fuel. . . Condensation will d...

One more thing. . .make sure you rename the file something different so you will end up having both the original file and the new "resized" file in your folder. Most of the time I just rename files using a letter or number. Like if the original file I wanted to resize was called 022017.jpg...

I chose the floods for daytime visibility. Good idea installing those LEDs down low on the forks. Look's like Mel has the same ones. It not only lights up the path better but it creates a taller image that would stand out more in traffic. An oncoming vehicle may take a second look wondering "W...

Took photos on my camera, too big to upload onto here. To resize your photos you would need a software application like Photo Shop or Paint Shop Pro. . . There's others as well but those two are quite popular. Then you follow the instructions. . . For a basic "nothing fancy" application j...

Had a chance to use this tool yesterday and it worked exactly like advertised. I noticed folk oil was escaping the seal and dust cover after my first weekend ride, winter had an effect on one shock seal. Hey Homie, Thanks for letting us know about the new tool. I never saw one of those before. I do...

I found using non ethonal gas improved my mpg grately in three of my cars. I have been using non ethonal gas in my PCX and is doing well. Improved mpg in my cars and no worries of ethonal ruining my fuel lines. I didn't believe that it would improve my mpg, but in my Acura TL, Toyota RAV4 and now m...

I checked out a Like a couple of years ago. . .was still trying to figure out if I wanted to go with a 49cc or something upwards of 200cc. The Like looked good but I didn't feel that it would be a "fit" for me. That being said it would be easier to get access to adjust the valves on the Li...
