Re: Insurance Query
I decided that fully comp was best for my 1st year. Ill go TPFT from year 2 While I can see the reasoning to go fully comp in your first year, £600 excess is a stupidly high figure. 'IF' you do take a tumble, you're paying the first £600 in repair costs anyways, THEN you have to declare the claim f...

Fuel Gauge
Right so i pick up my PCX on Saturday and i have asked for it to be filled right up and offered to pay for the extra fuel.
In case they don't and only put in a litre or 2 in how far would I get before needing fuel? I'm guessing id be good for at least 20 miles.

Re: Insurance Query
I went 3rd party as I took a chance any damage (and not claiming and having added premiums) would be cheaper in the long run than expensive comprehensive, any excess and added premiums - paid off for itself as 3 yr's insurance at 3rd party has worked out less than £400 all in. Saved well over a £10...

Insurance Query
So I've finally had the call to say my ride will be delivered to my Honda dealer on Tuesday. I'll be collecting it on the following Saturday. When should I arrange the insurance? Should I do it now to avoid any potential increases or wait until a day or 2 before I collect it. I already have the Regi...

Re: Can't Wait....
Ah yes, Forza 125 is 10.5kw and £4399, not that good a deal when the 300 is only £300 more. But if you are riding on the plates of shame with a CBT rather than a proper licence, the Forza 125 is perhaps the best there is. Yes it is the "best" you can get on L plates but still not worth th...

Re: Can't Wait....
almost £2000 more for a couple of extra Horse Power wasn't worth it. Its around double the horsepower and is the difference between being capable of keeping up with traffic on 70mph roads and being a mobile roadblock for trucks. Plus the Forza has much better storage and comfort. If all you need is...

Re: Can't Wait....
It'll be 3 weeks this Tuesday since ordering mine. The wait is bloody killing me.
I too almost went for the Forza but almost £2000 more for a couple of extra Horse Power wasn't worth it.

So do you any of you use it?
With London traffic i suppose it would save a few pence on a tank. I know the older versions had battery issues with it but have any newer version owner had any issues?
Can't wait for mine to arrive. Damn Honda running out of stock

Re: New Colors and a New Yamaha Competitor for the PCX
Now Yamaha has increased the price of the NMax £2849 RRP have they given up trying to compete with the PCX £2699 OTR? Only seen a couple NMax on the streets but lost count of PCX.
Was looking at an NMax but rear wheel with the disc brake was too small for a chain

London Dealers
Okay, so I've been talking with some Honda dealers and they all quote the OTR £2699 but want to charge £££ for a 29l top box. Can anyone recommend a good London dealer for both sales and servicing? Chiswick are probably my 1st choice with Doble 2nd. Norton Way Letchworth is a bit north of me but wou...
