Re: Givi Screen Fitment

Serial and product reference number. The screen came bubble wrapped in a huge cardboard box with further protective stuff. Daughter had great fun turning the box into a funhouse to play in!!!

Re: Givi Screen Fitment

Once the four bolts are removed the screen easily bends and comes off these four silver retainers. When the screen was removed I took the chance to clean this area as it is impossible to do so with a screen in place.

Re: Givi Screen Fitment

10mm socket with extension so not to scratch the bodywork, all four bolts came off easily.

Once the grill is removed, two bolts are exposed on each side.

Re: Givi Screen Fitment

Once the screws have ben removed, place your fingers on the grill with your thumbs on the headlight and pull backwards and downwards. It takes a little force initially, but once the tabs release the grill comes off easily. I did watch a video on YouTube which showed the bloke using a plastic tool to...

Re: Givi Screen Fitment

To remove screen, the two screws under the screen need to be removed to be able to take off the screen. I used a cross head screwdriver with a long, thin shaft so not to scratch up the grill.

Took photos on my camera, too big to upload onto here.

If anyone can advise how to resize I will put them up here!

Re: New (soon to be) Owner

Any problem getting that piece of plastic off (Grill) to get access to the windscreen holddowns? No problems whatsoever. Used a crosshead screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the grill in place, then with both thumbs on the headlight and fingers on the grill on the flat section below the sc...

Re: New (soon to be) Owner

Screen delivered and fitted today, 10 minute job if that, took longer to take some photos.

Not been out with it yet, hopefully tomorrow!

The service check sheet sounds great, any chance you can make it available on the forum?

Thanks!

Re: New (soon to be) Owner

So, my PCX is booked in for its running in service, free as part of the deal I got. Haven't done as many miles as expected due to work, weather etc. Have also ordered a new Givi screen today, noticed a bit of wind buffering when above 40-45mph, so will give this a try. Have also noticed how dirty th...

Re: Insurance Query

I rang up a week or so before I picked mine up last December, I just gave them the new registration number and they emailed my documents immediately to me with a start date when I was due to pick it up. With Bennett's Insurance, really easy, 5 minute phone call.

Good luck with your new scooter!

Re: Tire issue ? or Not ? Question

Yep, front City Grips have a backwards tread pattern from what is conventional. Be warned, they are not exactly the same as the rear tyre tread pattern reversed. That had me rather confused when I first picked up my PCX, to the extent I went back to the dealer. Luckily he had previous customers wit...

I can see a few of you aren't talking about the same Forza.

Sorry, was comparing 125 versions of each.

Forza 300 is £4699 with 19kw, £2000 more than a PCX, so not much of a fair comparison.

Re: New (soon to be) Owner

Chapel77, Welcome! I don't have a top box either. I keep a folded-in-half backpack, and two small spider cargo nets in my seat for any unplanned cargo. It has worked well for almost two years! (Oh, and white PCXs are the fastest!) Sticking to a fleece blanket to cover rear of saddle and the bodywor...
