Bien dit ! Qu'ils aillent se faire enc.... au Magreb, si ça leur tente tant ! (okay, let's move back to our horses - not camels s'il-vous-plaît)
Is that cryptic enough hhaha !

Re: headlight doens't turn off with starter motor
François, something else (I couldn't resist): Will there still be 'picnics in Nature' after tomorrow? Last night I listened to a hologrammed speech from MéchantCon and shit, that made me think of Adolph H. (they ban politics here...but probly never heard of this antisemite moron, so I'm trying my lu...

Re: headlight doens't turn off with starter motor
Then yes, the arcing from repeated on/off cycles ends up frying those tiny switch contacts. Same with the dimmer switch, but it takes longer as that switch is not used as often as the start button one. Some people install high-amps relays to protect the switches - using oem Honda relays should be fi...

Re: headlight doens't turn off with starter motor
Everything you mention is normal, according to the factory wiring diagram I have, here. You could modify that wiring to suit your wishes, but that would be quite a hassle, as I dicovered when I added an alarm and flasher buzzer on mine (then some witty old crank told me, 'why an alarm, nobody would ...

Re: headlight doens't turn off with starter motor
The manual says that headlight should turn off when operating the starter motor (page 28) but I noticed that they never turn off (low beam nor high beam) while I start the motor... did somebody verified this ? is it a problem ? any explaination ? (NSS300A) François, Here is how the starter button s...

You're not looking at the right place, Mr. Jones.
I can see mine clearly, using a little Coast G20 cylindrical flashlight. Like, they are jumping in
my face.
Adjust your barnacles, maybe?
Life is so miserable around Spuzzim, isn't it...

You'd better check your Suzuki's before THEY seize solid from the brined swamps you live in. Both
SFV650 and DrZ400SM we have here are similarly arranged to the Forza, would you believe it. We
are bright enough to protect them with 2- cents worth of dielectric grease.

Golden, To erase memory codes: - remove the (right) glove-box cover (2 small screws). Under it is found the RED diagnostic plug. remove this plug's cap. You'll need to jump 2 of the 4 wires there, the BROWN + Green/Black, so better pull the whole plug out of the way. - ok, with the switch OFF, jump ...

Re: Hello from Paris, France
Reaching that pump involves the risky removal of some rather touchy/fragile plastics. Not that easy to 'write it up'. (I'm an experienced mechanic, first time out it took me about an hour to get to that pump, then I was lucky not to damage anything... Anyway, the later pump has no recognizable marki...

Re: Hello from Paris, France
Once the pump had been changed on mine , Honda's site answered : no recall or update on this vehicule. Anyway, I KNEW the pump had been changed, since I had done it myself! (I pretended I was in an existential rush, and the dealer pretended he was 'too busy' that day...so he let me sign the paperass...

Re: Hello from Paris, France
Mine is a 2014, bought it new june 2016. At that time there was an ongoing fuel pump recall, according to canadian authorities. Both the dealer and Honda's internet site VIN entries said, no problem with yours...hmmm. I pulled the plastics out...and there it was, a blue pencil marking on the pump's ...

Go to : Honda France's internet site, section rappels. They'll ask your serial number and provide the information.
That's the way it works here (and, I imagine, everywhere else).

Re: Hello from Paris, France
C'est bien une 2013 (...D...). So, make sure it had the fuel pump recalls (two of them!) done. Also, the seat 'shock' has to be changed for a stronger one, on warranty. Faudra se faire un stock de pièces - d'ici dix ans... j'ai ma liste de prête, rien ne presse. 14,000km déja, et elle và de mieux en...

Re: Hello from Paris, France
Bravo!
Est-ce une 2017 ?
Si oui, dis, donnes-nous le numéro de pièce des plaquettes arrières (pour voir si Honda a changé
le mélange -les originales sont du beurre!)*
* This apart, the Forza is just great ! I plan to keep mine forever (even if that means a pile of
rear plaquettes haha)

Re: Recall letter number five...?
Yes, brand new oem ones measure only 4.5mm thick. Then the compound is soft (compared to pads from other bikes I have here). They are rather cheap and can be changed easily in 15 minutes by anybody with enough skill not to scrap an exhaust packing (or two) doing so. The real problem is that pad's w...

Over 22,000 trouble free miles on my Forza. About to put my fourth rear tire on it, still has the original brake pads. Couldn't be happier with it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Austin, EVERYBODY WANTS TO KNOW YOUR SECRET. All other reports indicate around 8000 mi. rear pads. Even european ones,...

Re: Recall letter number five...?
I'd rather not rush to buy a new model from ANY manufacturer. Modern machines are so complicated nobody can be trusted to make them 100% right, first time out. As to the Forza, its engine has proven its reliability after years of european SH 300 usage, another Honda total success. I have seen reliab...
