Re: Changing antifreeze and brake fluid
Getting 100% of the coolant out requires disconnecting the lower rad hose from the pump, I found. Then giggling the scooter left and right helps (the shop manual procedure is more elaborate, but this short-cut works). Then it is very important to properly bleed the system upon refilling (the bleed b...

Re: a little rough or buzz at 4250-4400 rpm
Update (now that I think of it): Like somebody else has already mentioned, that 'rough buzz' mysteriously diasappeared with a passenger on. Also was less evident (on mine) with the spring pre-load adjusters set @ MAX. Very good indications that the 'buzz' had something to do with the shock springs t...

Re: a little rough or buzz at 4250-4400 rpm
I have an 2014 nss300a. Has about 10,000 miles on it. Best thing ever, but i'm getting a rough vibration around 3000-3500 rpm. The whole bike rides really rough then. Any ideas? edit: i should add after 4000 rpm it smooths out like new, but the lower rpm feel different, rough. edit 2: this always h...

I began having my doubts about your rants while accidentally reading an european forum of yours.
Why exactly did they ban you, there?

Re: Anyone been in here?
It takes a few minutes to take apart/lube a Forza's center stand pivot. Preferably BEFORE it causes any problem, of course. Mine was nearly bone dry from the start (but then, so were most of my past new bikes' ones, so ...) I have lots of fun fixing my new bikes' inevitable little shortcomings - you...

Hammer and chisel was what you used on your scooter center stand, remember. What a twit you

Now at 16,000 km on the 2014, and not a glitch. This thing should last forever. Enough said.

Re: Recall letter number five...?
Not quite the ocean-liner-like Burgman 650, but the Forza IS heavy, dear. A few days ago I almost
dropped mine, as I miscalculated a slow, left hand turn into a tight place. Took all my strenght to
keep it from falling over me...would have been no problem 10 yrs ago...

Re: Recall letter number five...?
I have done the pump change, and all servicing, myself. No big deal. The real problem is NOT the scooter itself, but the now generalized poor dealer service (they pay shit, don't even train their employees). Were it not that the bikes are that good from the start, the whole industry should be bankru...

Re: Recall letter number five...?
Remember that all advice given by this whiner is guaranteed to be wrong. Mine is #331, 2014, totally reliable after 16K. Would buy another one any day. Takes me about half an hour to change the rear brake pads (a Honda rep says 'soft' works best with ABS...), so what! Then even the best can't last l...

I'm afraid it will only get quieter in the future. With just a few of them in North America, and
the scooter dropped by Honda...
Now, if you want some REAL reliability issues, hey, why not try KTM !!!

Re: locked key
Remove 3-4 plastics in the handlebar area and the latch/ignition sw. cables +levers should become
visible (and movable). True of my Forza, if I remember well (as I took the front apart to lube the
steering).
The better idea is to add a hidden little cable to the latch lever (okay, next time...)

Re: Anyone been in here?
Valve adjustment interval is 26,000 km, so no hurry to get there. Personally, just out of curiosity, I have checked them before that, only to realize I had better left them alone... You'll have to remove the luggage box to 'get there'- not as complicated as it looks-- I can do it in 15 minutes after...

Re: Had a pcx150, had a forza 300. Sold both. I R sad
I'd rather not take advice from this whiner (his own, crazy "advice", after all). My own Forza works like a charm at near 15k, and I expect it to keep doing so for a VERY long time. It has a few minor shortcomings I can live with - nothing is perfect in this world after all. I've had about...

No such recall on Honda's site. Where did you get that?
Then the guy has already changed it for a new one, if I understand well.

Re: 8 lights from FI
Hm... Ok. What i decide to do... Check y/bk wire connector s. Open left side. Make link to y/bk wire to get information have 5v or not on-line. (Put small +5v voltmeter on it) When yellow lights come in... We will see... If +5v disappear.... That mean, that i need to change ECU? Here is a simplifie...

Re: 8 lights from FI
UPDATE : Yes, there's a link between those 2 sensors : the Y/Bk wire, which feeds them 5 Volts from the ECU. Unplug the Drop sensor and see if you have 5 Volts at the Y/Bk wire, easy as that (do this both when the bike works good, and when not). If 0 Volts here, there's a very good chance the main s...

Re: 8 lights from FI
Golden, *54= Drop sensor. If that code still appears after you have changed the sensor, check the wiring and connections (easier said than done). *08=Throttle Position Sensor, as I've already told you. TPS is part of the Sensor Block bolted to the left of the Throttle Body. If faulty, engine will wo...
