I switched a bit in the begining, but the 98 octane just seems to make the engine run a bit smoother, a bit longer pr. kilometer and the throttle seems more instant when you twist it. I've driven around 1600 Km's on my 2016 125 PCX now.
And i have the same sound, it has been there since i bought it. I have noticed and thought about it a few times, but didnt really care untill i saw this thread.

Nobody found a solution? It actually makes me a bit sad with this issue.

And I've just mounted my Garmin Virb, as i drive a dangerous highway to work everyday, I want to record it. Last summer we had around 1-2 accidents on the road each day, mainly because of all the tourism.

The one piece of advice I can give you is that scooters and motorcycles are not readily visible to 4 wheeled drivers, especially those who are not use to seeing them.
