Re: Insurance
[quote="Fugu. I really scratched my hair when he told me the price, and that the 49cc's here in Spain cost more than the 125cc's. . This makes perfect sense to me: A 49cc is a magnet for four-wheeled ire everywhere but on a college campus. People will honk you, roar past you and cut back in to...

Re: Insurance
180€ is quite expensive, this year my insurance will be about £90 ($120 €107) Did you read my post? I'm from Denmark, and Denmark have one of the highest taxes on cars and motorcycles in the world. I would have to pay atleast the double in Denmark, so I'm pretty happy. Especially since this is my f...

Re: Insurance
Boy are you Lucky! 180€ annually?? We are now paying $1,000 annually for 2 PCX 150s. My car isn't even that much. Yeah, I'm dead serious. 180 Euroes, I wont ever complain about that price! I paid up front instantly, I was born and raised in Denmark, and we have the highest taxes in the world on car...

Re: Import from UK
I love the emergency blinkers :D Always turn it on when swooshing in between cars in high traffic to be more visible. In the UK it's illegal to drive/ride with hazard lights on if your vehicle is ok, but hey, not much chance of being stopped in the UK these days - may be fine in Spain :) People don...

Air box, Snorkel?
Hi everybody :-)
I've heard some things about getting a bit deeper sound from removing the snorkel in the air box.
I was wondering, is this marked spot in this picture, the snorkel, and should i just take it off?

Thanks in advance

Re: Should I just stick with premium fuel?
That explains a lot :-) Thanks for the answers! There is actually no difference at all then on the Octane then. No, there's a difference between octanes but it doesn't make any real difference to the PCXs running. I've heard that story a thousand times now. bla bla bla. I see different people, sayi...

Re: Should I just stick with premium fuel?
I dont understand why Americans have such ''poor'' quality. Or have i mistaken something?
In Europe, I cant find anything below 95 Octane. And almost none with Ethanol.

Re: Should I just stick with premium fuel?
Whatever amigo
I was told by the dealer to go with 98 octane as well. I feel sorry for you, since you cant feel the difference.
Maybe all you see is just cotton and ragged clothes.

Re: Gas to put in my PCX 150
No, PCX does not have knock sensor. That's false information. As stated many times, PCX engines were designed for 91 RON or 87 AKI gasoline which is widely available in all parts of the world. Knock sensor is the only way it can tangibly benefit from higher grade gasoline. I personally was recommen...
