Re: Help, I got sent the wrong shocks!
Good news, With your feedback and the cooperation of BikerzBits, I am keeping the G-Euro XL reds and getting a partial refund. Emmet from BB has been really great through all of this and quick to respond to my emails. For those interested, with the expensive shipping the goods got to me in about 2 w...

Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
I'm not sure if it makes a difference to what you're saying - but I don't have a rattle gun that hammers many times/second.
I have an impact driver, that just throws a cam out once it hits a certain speed and just gives a single big wallop.

Re: New exhaust experience
I don't know how I feel about more top speed just yet, the scoot is very lazy past 90kph most days. But It depends on the wind and what I had for lunch. But yes, I've had sliders here for a couple of weeks waiting to go in once my v tool arrives. I'm lead to expect great things from this. From there...

Re: New exhaust experience
Oh yeah, the noisy exhaust has me craving more power. Whereas the stock exhaust left me accepting the scoots adequate performance.

Re: New exhaust experience
Hey Mr Noise, I really like the look of the exhaust, which was the main reason for getting it (while maintaining good access to the dipstick). It's perhaps twice as loud as I would've liked, but in that regard it seems to be doing a smashing job of shooing the cars away. I didn't disconnect the batt...

New exhaust experience
Hi gang, I put my Realize Blink exhaust from Webike on today. Clamp on slip joint exhausts are a pain to install! Anyhow, it's noisy and looks good, didn't make any difference to power, yada yada it's just an exhaust... I was surprised to see the exhaust start to turn gold after only one short 45 mi...

Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
I've read 59Nm before, but I've also seen 91Nm on here (which sounds crazy high to me).
When you say 40-45, do you mean ftlbs? That sounds about right, since 59Nm = 43.5ftlbs.

Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
Hey TX,
I've got a torque wrench, but I still don't know what the torque setting is for the variator nut. I've only found it mentioned twice on here and the figures differed greatly.

Thanks Jon, I guess when you have a passenger you'd be running slightly north of my weight.

Re: Help, I got sent the wrong shocks!
Hi TX, Reading the other threads on shocks here it seems that BB might be selling off old discontinued stock. Which I don't have a problem with... I don't know if they substituted the XL shocks due to lack of availability, but i originally ordered Z series shocks in XXL, and had to go with G-Euro be...

Help, I got sent the wrong shocks!
Hi gang, Some goodies arrived from BikerzBits yesterday, and those cheeky buggers sent me G-Euro XL red instead of G-Euro XXL chrome shocks. Now, I weigh 118k/260lbs, so this is why I went with XXL shocks from BB since they were the only ones who stocked them that would ship to me. I don't intend to...

I don't think we ever got Lancias in Australia, not even the mundane Delta. The Stratos was one of my boyhood hero rally cars.

Maybe them too, but I have memories of the Alfasud. A nice looking car in its day before they all returned to the ground whence they came. ![Crying or Very Sad ](./images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)

Re: more fuel capacity
Why is the Forza so heavy? Its a similar weight as other 300 maxi scooters. They're heavier because there's more bodywork and more frame. It would interesting to see someone like KTM make a scooter. It would probably be about half weight and twice the power, twice the costs. And overheat.

Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
Hi Apache, I'm still waiting for my variator tool to arrive. My impact driver arrived the other day, but I still want the v tool to hold the variator while I manually torque it up to the unknown spec no one wants to tell me... On this site I have only found 59Nm and 91Nm torque spec for the variator...
