Re: Need help with wiring an accessory taillight!

Great points, Homie and Mel! So just exactly how would one go about determining what the correct resistors would be for added LED lights? How about swapping out the stock turn signal relay to allay part of that problem, leaving only the tail/brake assembly needing resistors? Where would someone who ...

Re: Custom Painted Windscreens

Mine is in my garage. I am very likely never going to use it, or need it again. I'd be more than happy to sell it to anyone who wanted it for a purpose like this. You have an unmolested 2013 PCX windscreen? Don't know what those are compatible with but you might hold on to it for resale as I would ...

Re: Custom Painted Windscreens

Interesting thought... For those of us who have removed the stock Honda windscreen to replace it with a National Cycle, Puig, Givi, or other, we had to do something with that old screen. Mine is in my garage. I am very likely never going to use it, or need it again. I'd be more than happy to sell it...

I certainly can't speak for you in this particular instance, and don't hold me accountable if you choose to use it, but I've always cleaned dirty parts with WD-40.

Re: Interesting item for those adding lighting...

Excellent. They sound just like what I need. I can solder, but don't have an extreme amount of confidence in my skills. This seems like just the ticket.

I wonder if these could be added to some sort of master parts list for modders?

Re: Came off!!!

Wow, I am glad you're okay, aside from a little banging up, and sad to hear that you dinged your ride. I don't go anywhere near the road when it's wet. I know my limitations, and I know that I don't have the current experience to handle wet roads. I worry about sliding in a regular curve/turn, to th...

Re: Headlight Upgrades

Ish, I bumped a thread for you. Go to the PCX technical board you'll see a thread on how to adjust your PCX headlight beam. Thanks. Except it wasn't me that wanted to know where it was. I have a service manual and I know where it is. I was asking someone to post pics for Mister_Fube. But you're sev...

Interesting item for those adding lighting...

Does anyone here have any experience with these? If so, it would be great to post your opinions and results. When I finish my shop bench and begin adding my auxiliary lighting, I am going to use these. http://www.posi-products.com/index.html Here's a video from WebBikeWorld: https://youtu.be/Yiimgl-...

Re: experienced rider report

Great advice. Solid, applicable, and on point.

The only thing I can add is to be aware of your surroundings, always have an out, and drive defensively. The one that hits you will be the one you never saw coming.

Re: Natasha's Lair

Before I go...I have a question about the height of your work bench area vs. the garage floor. Will you be standing on the floor while tooling at your bench(es)? At different levels? Seems a bit awkward maybe even dangerous? You must have something up your sleeve. I better hold back awhile, and see...

Never even heard of it...

I have had two different defensive driving courses provided by former employers over the years though. Neither one were this "Smith System"....

Natasha's Lair...

Okay, here goes. This first drawing shows the "before" I started. Most of the floor of the raised deck was dry-rotted or otherwise damaged to the point that I wouldn't have stood a skinny five-year-old on it for fear of them falling through. Most of the bench top is in the same condition. ...

Re: Sad story - how do you handle this scenario?

Vigilance. I cannot speak for anyone else, nor can I suggest what the best course of action for any situation might be, but in my personal case, I always check both my mirrors, and if need be, a visual check of what's coming up behind me, whenever I have to make a "course change". That's l...

Well, I have to say that I didn't expect any interest, but since I have it, I'll be working on that drawing directly...

I think I'm now going to have to make up a sign, say, with a 1950s era pinup of some scantily clad buxom gal and the caption reading "Natasha's Lair"....

Re: Double sided tape frustration...

Out-freaking-standing... I finished fixing the work area floor in the garage about 20 minutes ago. Didn't cost me a thing. There's this printing shop downtown that gets all sorts of things sent to them on these god-awful huge pallets, and I have a sort of deal with the owner, that if he'll give me t...

Wow... I really like that blue, although I would be much more excited if it were a royal blue rather than a dark blue.

And that white... Oh my god that white... If I can make my spouse/accountant/boss understand how much safer and easier to operate the 2017's are, she might...
