Possible email mining...
Just wanted to post a heads-up to the moderators and forum owner. From July 7 until yesterday, I have received 121 spam emails from dating sites, "hookup" sites, and porn via my email address. This is the only website to which I belong that has this email address. I have used it nowhere el...

Re: The ever-popular LED add on lighting...
Hmmm.... We don't do inspections down here in Georgia, and fiddling with a relay is not going to happen in the lair. I simply am too ignorant of those things to even bother to try to open one, knowing that the end result would be the destruction of a perfectly good relay. .... That's why I was...

The ever-popular LED add on lighting...
Something I saw in a recent PM got me to thinking. Recently, I was given four little strips of amber LED lights (they each have three LEDs in them, and are only about an inch and a half long). Like these: Image11.png Along with a bunch of other people, I've often thought of swapping bulbs out to mak...

Re: Insurance
I just got my bill for insurance for Natasha for the next six months, and it works out to just under $13.00 a month, or $156.00 a year. That's with full replacement, and the standard insurances for motorcycle. If and when I take a certified motorcycle safety course within one year of the policy init...

Re: The Transfiguration of Natasha
There hasn't been much in the way of updates to the transfiguration, mostly because I've had two classes during the shortened summer semester. Cramming 16 weeks of material into 10 weeks is not fun, let me tell you. Nor is revising all the lecture notes, quizzes, exams, and what-not to be able to co...

Re: How do you put air in your tires?
Is this a US thing :) - only hear of problems filling up tyres from US garages :) It absolutely must be a US thing. Apparently the desire to make a buck at all costs forces the oil companies to charge for even air. Haven't seen a regular "gas station/garage" since Girardey's closed up in ...

Re: Plastic body panels? where from? thugs smashed them :-(
Damn.... I absolutely hate people who don't respect the property of others. I surely hope you contacted the local police to report it and so they can investigate, interview the witness, find the perpetrators and arrest them. If the police can find them, here's hoping you can sue them in court and fo...

Re: How do you put air in your tires?
Riding home from work a couple of weeks after I got her, I noticed that Natasha seemed a little "mushy" in turns and when on uneven pavement. Sort of like the tire "skipped" to the side about 1/4" or so when riding over a crack. This troubled me a little, as it felt somewhat...

OK, for anyone who's interested here's the ebay seller link, he re-listed them http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-PCX-150-Prosense-Headlight-Bulbs-white-blue-35-33-Watts-/172237311215?vxp=mtr Anyone ever do a review of these? Re: Need help with wiring an accessory taillight!
I think replacing just the brake light, with no additional lights having been added to the circuit, should prove to be a simple task. The older PCX has a lower watt bulb that is similar to the 1157, so find an 1157 LED bulb and just plug it into the brake light socket. It should work. It only start...

Re: Need help with wiring an accessory taillight!
. By the by, any progress on determining what needs to be done to swap out the existing incandescent tail light bulb with an LED one? <heh> Swapping the bulb is easy, just get a new bulb, remove the rear wing cover, remove the bulb from the socket, replace with new bulb. You just have to make...

Re: Need help with wiring an accessory taillight!
I presume that advice was aimed at me, Mel, and if so, it's awesome great advice. Having said that, I have not yet found, at any price, from any seller, anywhere, a light assembly that looks remotely like what I would want to put on Natasha. I have a very specific thing in mind, and because it does ...

Re: National Cycle windscreen install and review
First, thanks for the plug, I think. It looks to me like you have the mid-sized one as I have, even though I originally wanted the tall. The tall is something like 16.75" while the medium is 14.5" I think the regular "short" one is only 12" or so. I wouldn't advise cutting i...

Re: Need help with wiring an accessory taillight!
What is your experience with splicing and sourcing wiring? Its pretty easy to do some damage if you are inexperienced. Do you know how to splice/heatshrink/solder? How to use a continuity tester? How to check for polarity? How to splice in a in line fuse and what size fuse to use? And above all, pl...
