Re: Centre stand
My story was that I was waiting for the then new PCX 2015 to arrive and ready for purchase in my tiny country. Our only Honda agent was trying to clear older 2013 model units first, but I was sure I would regret buying the 2013 model, so was willing to wait. Expecting a lengthy wait, I scoured the u...

Re: Centre stand
The Grom is tiny! and I am skinnier than you, I think. I had a Kymco Xciting 300R 2 years ago, which is comparable to your Forza 300 in terms of weight. I was a complete newbie then, and initially, I also couldn't use the centre stand. After a while, I figured it out, but still needed a lot of effor...

Here it is, my top speed video. Couldn't find a way to mount camera so that both smartphone and speedometer were nicely in view.

Re: PCX Speedo inaccuracy
@sendler2112 Is your PCX 2013 stock? What is your top speed indicated by your speedometer? I found a lot of non-US PCX top speed videos on Youtube, but couldn't find a US one. I found this textual statement for a PCX150 2013: Surprise, surprise, the Honda PCX 150 is very nearly spot on in speed and ...

Re: Only Getting About 55MPH WOT into Head Wind
Yes djbass, I noticed that too. When I use GPS navigation app Maps.me, it shows about 5-10kmh less than the speedometer. I read most vehicles are like that. I will include speedometer speed, phone GPS speed, and camera GPS speed (overlay) when and if I do the video.

Re: Only Getting About 55MPH WOT into Head Wind
where did you guys get this info that stock 2015-2017 Pcx can only reach 64 mph? I can make my PCX 2016 run around 71 mph WOT on long stretches. Easiest to reach is 68 mph and then climb itself slowly to 71mph. It's probably more on how much you guys there weigh and not the engine's limiter that is...

Re: 2019 PCX abs?
I would appreciate ABS. I think riders in Thailand would appreciate ABS most as it seems to be wet most times there? About 2019 model, I also feel it might be the biggest update since 2015 model. Maybe a proper stock windshield? New dashboard layout? Possibly will come with an airbag, or was that id...

Re: Which Givi topbox?
Mine is a 30L. I did consider the smallest size of 26L. The 30L does look tiny some times, maybe should have gone just a litre bigger? Anyways I think a 26L may be too small for PCX. Probably meant for the smallest bikes.

Re: Full Face & 3/4
I currently use a 3/4 with a removable chin bar. The chin bar is more for looks and wind noise reduction, rather than for safety. I also have a 1/2 helmet I got free with my PCX, which I only use on very short trips on village roads, like to convenience shop, barber, mosque, etc. I'm thinking about ...

Re: what gas do you use in your pcx
Interesting.. I did some quick searches on other vehicles' recommended fuel rating (Honda CBR1000RR, Suzuki Vitara, Ford Fiesta, Honda NSX) and they all seem to say "RON 91 or higher". Enlighten me, please. As for my PCX, I have always put RON 97 "Premium" fuel in it. The next op...

I have a pair of ROKstraps I keep neatly in my (ugly) top box. Tho I have not actually used the straps.. because so far my objects fit easily in the top box or underseat. I tried cargo net, and it was not good.

Re: How many of you actually RIDE in the RAIN?
No way I'd want to ride in the rain! When I ride, and I sense a drop of rain, I quickly find any kind of shelter. Then I'd just sit and wait there till it is nice and dry again..
..so it never rains when you ride there?

Re: Had a pcx150, had a forza 300. Sold both. I R sad
Never had a Forza, but before I got my PCX I had a Kymco Xciting 300, which should be very similar to a Forza in terms of weight and size at least. The PCX is by far the better bike, the 300 was not even a good bike for me. It was a pain to ride. I don't get all the fuss about upgrading to higher cc...

Re: About to buy a 2015 PCX 150.
This may sound odd, but in my country the fastest speed limit I know is 100kph (62mph), and most roads are 65kph (40mph). Anyways, I remember one time I was on one of the 100kph roads, in the fast lane, cars approaching behind me, so I sped up trying to keep the distance comfortable before trying to...

I only added a real windshield and a topbox, which most people would do, I think. Other than those, a motorcycle intercom with FM radio. I also got some RAM mounts, and they are very nice, but for me most times not necessary.

Wonderful photos. Your streets look deserted.
The legendary scooter maybe well be unbreakable, and versatile with its step through platform, but not handsome like PCX.
I think my PCX will outlast me. I don't see why not.

Re: GoPro Mount Suggestions
I finally got my Black Friday goods today I am so relieved and happy! Which includes Sony AS300 ($100 cheaper, no 4K version of their top model X3000) and an assortment of RAM mounts. I bought them mainly for mapping (required feature: 1second time-lapse photos with geotags). Some of the RAM mounts ...

Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?
Anyone have a face shield or visor treatment (spray, liquid, paste or ?) which works better than other products in the rain? Have tried a few....not found the magic stuff yet. Fish I got the rain-x plastic water repellant. I spray it on my windshield and helmet. Unfortunately I have not tested it e...
