Its overfilled but not by a huge amount.
Its not ideal but won't cause any damage. If it bothers you use a small syringe and pipe to remove the excess.

Re: Anybody in U.S. pay for Roadside Assistance that wasn't with your insurance company??
Geico is giving me the best rate for 2 scooters... But they require comprehensive (I think) in order to add roadside assistance. So I'm looking into Allstate's Motor Club and AAA and wondering if anybody else has actually used these service before? Allstate's is like $12/mo, but it covers ALL your ...

Try disconnecting the battery for a short length of time and reconnecting.

Re: Electrical Issue
Not sure he can change to led. I bought a led bulb for my tail light but then strange thins started to happen, such as the brake light staying on after I released the bike lever. I put the regular bulb back in and all was well, so now I have extra led lights around the regular light. All works well...

Re: Frightened by Phillips. Grips with Fear
If I recall, PCX and other Japanese bikes do not use Philips by Jis (similar but can be ruined using normal screwbits). I purchased 3 special Jis screwdrivers for $30 but have never used them, instead use normal tools but go careful, which is fine if the screw is not in too tight or blue lock-tight...

It's official,https://powersports.honda.com/street/scooter/pcx150. You're right! :D The product page still calls it the PCX 150 but in the specs the engine is declared as the new 156.9cc 4 valve. Here's another recent video worth a watch . . .. 8lx1_F0_nsQ That said there's a 2021 ADV 150 at my loc...

Re: Front flat tyre - only a few months old
Sometimes debris and nails collect on the shoulders of roads. Whether it be in a car or m/c it can be problematic to veer right onto a shoulder in order to get around a car slowing to turn left. This is why a higher percentage of nails are found on a cars' right side tires. Or the left depending on...

That explains a lot. I've had trouble logging in and lines of script at the opening of the forum.
Thanks for fixing. Everyone complains about a format change and eventually gets used to it. TBH the forum did need it even before this.

That looks OK now. Probably only you will notice it.
Acetone isn't good for paint or plastic so I'd be tempted to give the area a good wash and then wax.

The original "Mini Cooper" . . . the essence. KPlWucEzl3E I miss the days before all the big corporate buyouts and what it said on the label was what you really got . . . for better or for worse. :geek: You maybe don't remember the Riley Elf or the Wolseley Hornet...? Worse than that for ...

Bit of a coincidence but my 1969 988 Morris Mini Cooper should be back on the road this summer after a 35 year break. Any interest in pictures?

Re: How to remove cleaning spray stains from paint work...!?
I was also struggling with scratches before, what happens is that dust and dirt and oil and dirty water and stuff get in the scratches and make it dark grey or black color, horrible on white paint - that's where maybe black or dark color is better, but I prefer visibility and it's cooler under hot ...

I'd be checking and cleaning all connectors between the sensor and the speedo first.wrighty wrote:
Do you mean the actual sensor? if so quite possibly.
Fixable? Does the rear wheel have to come off to get at the sensor??

Re: Is this a capacitor and how to change it
Thank you all for the help! Before disconnecting the whole wiring loom I noticed that other wires also give weird reading when measuring for resistance. After disconnecting ALL connectors only the one connecting the display and the speed sensor kept giving constantly increasing values. I cut the wi...
