I like to read all active posts, but reading too many long winded posts becomes a chore.

I'm 75 and haven't got enough time left to waste it :-)

Re: Just in time for the riding season

@TheMaverick I have only ridden in the rain once and only because it caught me halfway home, got soucked. I didn't mind the rain and it was relaxing. I have been looking for rain gear. What brand is your vinyl raincoat? I would like to get one of those and over-trouser rain proof pants.

Re: Remove(increase) Rev limit

Power starts to drop off before the redline, given that I don't see the benefit of the device. You could add stiffer valve springs to avoid valve float above the factory redline. But still no benefit from it.

I do wonder what the potential redline limit is of the PCX.

Re: Heaven on Earth

Thats a great idea, does the momentary switch get locked out when the scoot is shut down? Gil No - no need. It's either in the garage, or parked so far away from the garage that it wouldn't work anyway. I was originally going to wire it so it applied battery power when the lights were put on full b...

I don't think we, in the US, have the keyless option on new PCX models.

Re: A small victory, plus "Preaching to the Choir"

I have noticed that those tools kits seem to be getting skimpier on new bikes. I think it might be because of fuel injection there is less things to go wrong. My tool kit has the helmet strap a screwdriver, that's it.

Enjoy your ride.

Re: Is the Harley Superlow 883 all it's cracked up to be?

Its not cracked up to be anything other than a Harley, so yes it is all its cracked up to be. Going by the standards by which motorcycles are normally assessed and measured its an unbelievebly awful pile of crap, but as a Harley its very much a Harley and for anyone wanting a Harley it will meet th...

Re: Oil and Coolant Check

So after following this thread I decided to see for myself how troublesome the issue is. Turns out for me it is a non-issue, because there is NOTHING in the reservoir. I went by the shop and got some coolant this evening, and will investigate probably Wednesday. Could be a cracked reservoir like Me...

Yea, it might be. Six thousand miles since I topped up the reservoir and the level is still good. My reservoir was pretty much empty.

That 3 valve engine is cool even if it does make less power than the PCX ;) . Gil Correct, sorry if I made this seem complicated. First time...

Up until it stopped working, I had to press quite hard for it to register a button press. I managed to get it too the odometer, so i left it there. I do find the trip meter very handy when taking trips, too keep track of how much range I have left. WhiteNoise Have you tried the cleaner before? I'll ...

Trip/Odometer button not working..

:( My trip odometer button stopped working, it works sometimes now. :(
It has always been a bit of a stubborn button, as I had to press kind of hard for it too work.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm guessing I'll have to take the panel apart to fix it.

Good to hear that you have good experience with the FOBO tyre pressure monitor. It's now on my list of accessories for my scoot. How much did you buy your for?
