Re: PGM-FI Controller for first generation PCX150 (KF12)

thanks BPT, do we have the same stock throttle body? It's the same. If you order Yuminashi throttle body and A type manifold you'll have no problem. I can show you how to install it very easily. However I see your scooter has dual throttle cable. Yuminashi is single cable. You'll have to drop one c...

You'll be better off with something that is not for motorcycle with wet clutch.

Re: PGM-FI Controller for first generation PCX150 (KF12)

Thank you for your suggestions. I made the 31mm TB work for my scooter, with one weird trick given to me by Reggy himself (really). My idle is comfortable at 1800 rpm. Idling stop works like a dream. I use a stock camshaft so starting and using Idling stop is fine. Great power. Even without the cam...

Re: PGM-FI Controller for first generation PCX150 (KF12)

My stock throttle body an air adjustment screw. My scooter is a click 125i, it does not have IACV but only a solenoid valve? I think they're the same but don't know why on the pcx it's fully automatic and called IACV but on our scooter it's just named "solenoid valve" and we have an idle a...

Re: PGM-FI Controller for first generation PCX150 (KF12)

Hey guys. I installed my BBK today. However there's a problem. The yuminashi 31mm throttle body do not have an idle adjusting screw (For my scooter, PCXs are fine I guess). And also there's a solenoid and valve setup on top of my stock throttle body. like in this image. E-17.jpg number 9 and 10. It'...

Re: Project V27-164

I guess so. Installing a washer can cause some weird problems. I know. I have a scooter that vibrates like crazy according to rpm. 0.25mm 0.5mm 1mm matters. All different. Not a single one feels the same. And I mean installing your vario on my scooter. I found one here. Somehow does not fit. I canno...

Re: Project V27-164

I don't think installing a 50mm boss might be a good idea on my scooter. The crankshaft shaft does not allow it. I won't be able to put the starting crank gear on the shaft because the ramps on the shaft is very short. Might be wrong though.

Re: Project V27-164

Stock one is 47.5mm. I am using kitaco dlc boss it s also 47.5mm long. I think the shorter pulley boss is for top speed and lower rpm. If I want I can install a washer to see how it goes. Yuminashi boss is 46.5mm

Re: Project V27-164

Update with the variator. I did a test run. Turns out 12gram was too heavy and the engine runs into overdrive too soon with the stock torque spring. I drop in a new pcx v1 belt as recommended by reggy and my mechanic. The take off is somehow weaker but obvious increased acceleration. 10 gamr is now ...

Re: PGM-FI Controller for first generation PCX150 (KF12)

So I guess I'll go stock. 0.1 In and 0.24 Ex then. The dyno idea is great. And why don't you consider a Bazzaz with autotune Vlad? Would be optimal with it. My Yuminashi kit did over 6000 km so perhaps break in a little bit. I'll get my hands on the Torque Control vario this morning. I'll take detai...

Re: PGM-FI Controller for first generation PCX150 (KF12)

Reggy told me he's working on a completely new setup.
14:1 compression ratio to run on E85 fuel.
Racing only though.

Re: PGM-FI Controller for first generation PCX150 (KF12)

I've learned that when tuning an engine. A difference of 0.1mm can make big differences. When Reggy suggest those valve clearance I think he had more performance related reasons than longevity of the valve train. And comfort too. At stock clearance the distance are to wide and ticking happens. Very ...

Re: PGM-FI Controller for first generation PCX150 (KF12)

14.7 is good for fuel efficiency for the 164 kit but will it affect performance at WOT? At WOT will the AFR be 12.8? On the stock ECU WOT is operating around 13.0 or 13.2. I trust that Yuminashi has been able set up this kit properly - so the bbk upgrade is operating on the rich side also. Running ...
