Re: 2013 150 Engine Mods?

She's sexy right? But sometimes when she's asleep, I sneak out to meet this lady here. This one is a naughtily dirty one, she likes to bath in 10W30 fully synthetic oil. So I give her just that. Screen Shot 2016-09-23 at 0.30.14.png Screen Shot 2016-09-23 at 0.39.43.png Screen Shot 2016-09-23 ...

Re: Yuminashi help!!!!

Get the 6 hole A type. Type B 10 hole flows a lot of fuel. I've tried one. Not impressed. Vlad tend to want to go to the extreme, I admire him but 34 may be a bit too much. 31 is ok. I have learned through painful experience that bigger is not always better. 34 is for a 279cc scooter. I won't name w...

Re: Yuminashi help!!!!

Swag is everything over here. Japanese stamp on products has a huge effect. Keep us updated on your build. Should be good to see a 62mm on bigger valves like a 150. Make sure when you take the valves out, take the head and the valves to a good machine shop to have them perform a seat cleaning job. ...

Fingers crossed that Baron Maxmillian will make all the difference, then... Just to make you guys feel bad, I ordered my CM 175cc BBK from Taiwan on Tuesday afternoon and it arrived here just now on Thursday morning. "Just to make you guys feel bad". You, I like you  . CM? Is that short for CharMo? I have some guys over here running charmo stuff with varying degrees of success. ;) Yup, CM Taiwan is the origin - and that is short for Char Mo. They seem to be manufacturing for others also - Takegaw...

Re: 2013 150 Engine Mods?

That's one sexy cam! Sometimes I think I got a metal fetish. That camshaft just sits quietly on my table, I spent 50$ just to have one copy for show. I like my cam smooth and curvy   Regarding the ticking noise. I figured that using 0.05mm and 0.08mm on a yuminashi camshaft makes it quiet...

Re: 2013 150 Engine Mods?

Remember, pistons don't come as 62mm precisely, they're actually 61.98 or less. I'd use a piston that comes with a specific cylinder, don't interchange parts, might cause damage with incorrect tolerance. I've used a Takegawa camshaft myself, performance wise I have no complaints and comments. But t...

Re: Yuminashi help!!!!

I wonder if Yuminashi are prioritising Grom orders and dissing us. Or if the Grom folk are having problems, too? Their previous guy who handled customer service and packing, shipment was a nightmare. So I guess it happens to all who orders in June, July and August. I myself have a 62mm piston waiti...

Re: 2013 150 Engine Mods?

This is the only thing I've purchased, and I'm still trying to find an injector for the right price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/232085801802 I can get the cam and hi.comp. piston from another member locally. But there is always Webike and Yuminashi for parts if you want to pay more for certain things:...

Re: Rear wheel bearing sizes and bearing numbers

That bearing kit came with loads of rubber seals and two tubes of grease - is that normal? Not seen those included in any other video to do with the actual PCX part (but maybe I missed them)? The bearing inside the rear pulley comes with grease if you ordered it from Honda. The normal bearing with ...

chicaboo, a drop of oil on the threads of the spindle before you spin the nut on.
Thanks. :D
Make sure you wipe every oil left with gas.
I get oil in the variator face once. Very nice experience

Re: Aftermarket Variator + Drive Belt = Failure at ~3,500 mi

BPT7594 , do you have a torque value for the variator nut? All Honda torque values are "wet value". Meaning you put some oil in there before you twist. Otherwise there will not be enough torque. The 22mm nut on the variator is 59Nm (43.52 foot pounds). The 19mm nut on the bell is 49Nm (36...

Re: Aftermarket Variator + Drive Belt = Failure at ~3,500 mi

So let me see if I get this correct. If you want more speed from a Yuminashi kit, without the belt breaking in the middle of your ride, you will have to add vent holes, which THEY said nothing about previously, and those vent holes could allow water intrusion, which could glaze the surface and caus...

Re: Aftermarket Variator + Drive Belt = Failure at ~3,500 mi

Any modifications to the transmission cover will make it prone to water intrusion. When enough water gets in the transmission it will make the belt slip, glazing its surface. I think this kind of belt failure is a consequence of riding at top speed for very long periods of time. I myself was lucky n...
