Actually, I was thinking of this one...
Although on soberer reflection, I'm more partial to the guy in this one...

Re: Ethanol Free
Well, the most memorable case of bad gas was when I had some fool next to me, gassing up his pickup by click, click, clicking on the handle.
I think he thought he would get more gas that way, but all it seemed to do was stir up the junk in the underground tank.

Re: Ethanol Free
Thanks JBlye, that's good info. Actually, I was responding to one of GeorgeSK's posts in an unclear way. There are a lot of poorly-maintained gas stations around here and I've been trying to figure out why the gas from some of them causes more problems with my new fuel injected scooter, than it did ...

Re: Ethanol Free
No kidding, ethanol picks up water more easily? That explains a lot.
Here in awesomely humid and flood-damaged Columbia,
some stations are probably pumping gas that's already wet.

I don't think anyone will mistake you for the police,
but once they're close enough to read the "punish & enslave" text,
I could easily see them taking offense

Looks like you've got blue, green and white reflective decals there... excellent!
Do they have police bikes that small over there?
Around here they're much bigger, like Goldwings or large BMWs.

Wow!
Are those blue decals reflective? If so, I bet it looks great in the dark too.

Re: Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
I have been using this leg cover on my 2013 PCX. I parked my Forza with its Thermoscud and Givi box at a grocery store last winter right next to a PCX with a Thermoscud and a Givi box. It was a nice moment here in the Deep South of the USofA, where what I mainly end up parking next to are ginormous...

Re: Cheeky Seats review
I think it would be quite a design/sewing challenge, unless you could find vinyl fabric that came already checkered.
Perhaps one could "checker" some white marine vinyl? That would also let you make the checkers smaller than they could easily be pieced together.

Re: Cheeky Seats review
I've been thinking about a cover for my 2015 stock seat now that I replaced it with another seat. I believe Suzy has yet to make a cover for 2014-2016 PCX model years. What do you guys/gals think of a white and black checkerboard pattern? Not sure about the checks on such a streamlined scooter... M...

Re: Cheeky Seats review
Thanks guys :) My last scooter was bigger, so I'm not looking to lower my PCX seat. On the other hand, I'm not eager to raise the seat much. In any event, it looks like this seat cover is designed for the older PCXs. My seat may already be better. (If so, those older seats must be danged uncomfortab...

Re: Cheeky Seats review
Oooo, I like the idea of additional padding
Does it add much to the seat height?
(I can't flat-footed the original on both sides)

I'm going with Grace Jones, back when she was doing Honda scooter ads.

Lovely spring weather here, except for the severe thunderstorms. Mostly highs below 90.
I'll probably look this thread up again in a month or so, when the highs start reaching 100 F.

Re: Wet weather gear
If it's cool here in SC (around 7 months of the year), I've got my lap blanket and a waterproof top layer. If it's summer (the rest of the year), then it's over 80 F and I don't worry about light to moderate rain, but most of the time it's astoundingly heavy rain or, worse yet, thunderstorms and I d...

Re: Got The PCX Recall Notice Today
Yes, I think Homie is right The stock top box is really quite small (cute, but pretty useless IMHO) And the rack is probably underengineered for anything bigger or heavier. But I'm guessing that most of the forum members here that have the rack either bolt their top box to it or stash their heavy st...
