Re: Possible email mining...

Not an expert, but it's also possible that someone hacked your service provider for infrequently used addresses. This happened with a couple of mine (at the same time) some months ago.

Re: It Is Hot Out There

Okay, it's time.
We've had 7 days in a row with highs of 100 F or above (here in Columbia) and it looks like we'll tie the record with an eighth day today.

This would probably get more views Honda PCX/ Technical Help section. I don't know much about fixing these things, but it sounds like you have problems with the fuel injection system (See... http://powersports.honda.com/experience/articles/090111c0812182ba.aspx ) I suspect you should line up another...

Re: Like these helmets?

Now that I think about it more, the face shield is well-protected from minor damage, as is the visor, so I probably won't need to replace any of them soon. I suppose this is a perfect example of "you can pay now or you can pay later" (Which BTW, was my experience with several cheap helmet...

Re: Oil change question for 2015 PCX 150

3-4 shots of bourbon will fix it.. if not, you have a problem ! No it won't, and the problem would be a migraine. I'd like say I love the North Americans and there simplistic stupidity but sometimes it is difficult Pass the bourbon. I prefer scotch anyway...and I'm not sure making myself more dizzy...

Re: Plastic body panels? where from? thugs smashed them :-(

Oh I'm so sorry. :(

I had similar problems with my last scooter.
If the handlebars wiggle much without moving the front wheel,
there's internal damage along the steering column.

Re: Like these helmets?

If it's included how is it a marketing opportunity? I was assuming that I'd have to buy the inserts as often as I buy face shields, but maybe not, since I've found a video from Shoei describing how to wash the insert and reinstall it. I've never replaced on. No need. Not cheap so to have one in the...

Re: How do you put air in your tires?

Seems a really dumb question, but I can't fit a nice bike pump on the valve stem. That would be the simplest, cheapest way to top off tire pressure while the tires are cold at home. I went to a gas station and couldn't get the straight chuck on the stem. No room. I forced it, but then the pin in th...

Re: Like these helmets?

Don't buy the cheapest of the cheap, but neither do you need a £300-500 helmet for most journeys whereby a sub £100 will do just as well. The main advantage of more expensive helmets is slightly more comfort and better sound-proofing which is needed for fast and long journeys - not really what a PC...

Re: Like these helmets?

You can't tell anymore if stuff is coming from from China or outerspace because Amazon has these superbox warehouses hidden among us here in Chicagoland and popular items are already here. I ordered a second WOW helmet and it landed the next day by a plain white utility van with a tiny little Amazo...

Re: Like these helmets?

I wish my helmet were anything like that cheap. But then again, I tried on a number of cheaper helmets at the store before finally donning the GT-Air (all the while muttering about obscene prices and obscene profits).

Re: Like these helmets?

Yes it's very quiet too, I forgot to say that. I tried to get a picture of it outside on my scooter, but both visors and the camera lens fogged up immediately. So instead... Get a pin lock insert. It came with one that fits into the face shield, but I haven't tried it yet. Those Shoei folks never m...

Re: Holy cupping Batman!

My tires were less severe, no way would it have shown up in a picture. But the mechanic said that once it starts, it just continues to get worse. Although I did try over inflating my tires until the new ones came in and that did (sort of) work. That was during the hot season here (riding every day a...

Re: Holy cupping Batman!

Yes Homie, I let the tires get seriously under inflated. And the motorcycle repair guy who was servicing my Vespa had a bit of a chat with me about doing my pre-ride checks. If I'm right, the dark bar is raised at the edge of the "flat" (really more cupped) spot on the tire and you can see...

Yup, I got cupped tires once because I didn't keep the inflation to spec

Re: Like these helmets?

It's gotten hot here in Columbia, so I had a chance to test my latest helmet yesterday in 98 F and humid heat. It (a Shoei GT-AIR full-face helmet) was GREAT--it blew through more air (with the face shield closed) than any of my open-faced helmets and it has a thumb tab that makes it easy to open th...

Re: which topbox?

It's a scooter, not a motorcycle. Gee. Unless it is super nice, (like a PCX :-), then there isn't much more to be said for it. Now the PCX and Forza are like motorcycles. That is what makes them special....but I am biased. Are you replying to the Tron-alike commercial or the one with Grace Jones or...
