A question for the ages...

I added a couple pics to the story. One shows the scars of previous road "repairs". The other shows "the abyss" by the light of day.

Re: Smooth surfaces

This was fresh blacktop and still warm and sticky. I had to wait for the flagger to let me go on it. It hadn't had time for oil to pool on top. It was beautiful.

Re: R.I.P Fonda

I don't even like the look of that glossy strip running down the road... heck is that? Never encountered such a patch in all my driving experience. What sort of underground pipeline or service cable has been buried that could have caused for such a irregularity in the payment? Call the county and g...

"Your pants were untouched?.." Not a scratch or rip to my jacket nor to the pants I was wearing (water proof snowboard pants). I did have a few scrapes where my helmet hit the road. "..How did you manage to fall off at such a low speed?" I've visited the hill every day since to ...

Re: The curb or the oncoming car

P.S. Let it be known that my next bike/scoot (if there is one), Will have ABS brakes. Hear that gn2? ;) 8) Me too, the next PCX in the legend of this scooter will hopefully have ABS and the will be a powerful incentive to trade. Well worth paying for if you are incapable of braking properly. Why is...

Smooth surfaces

There's nothing like a freshly paved strip of asphalt...nice and grippy. It's especially good after being on a horrible road earlier in the day. Twice in the last week I've had a bit of a run in with a hole on Lemon street. Thankfully nothing is damaged and I stayed on the scoot and kept it upright,...

I was gonna say... "Clutch tool?" I've never used a clutch tool on a CVT in my life.

Considering the physics involved hitting the stationary object was a better choice than hitting something moving toward you. Good call man, good call.

Very glad you're in one piece.

Not my faith. I enjoy a good joke as long as people who believe in Jesus don't get offended.

Okay.. One more question, whats the differents between 2014 model with 2015 In terms of the engine capability, nothing. Yep. Same engine, but there's a difference between 2013 and 2014/2015 in the way it communicates to the final drive. the 2015 has a slightly lower top speed in its stock configura...

Re: R.I.P Fonda

Glad you're largely uninjured Seph. Sorry about the scoot. Much sadness, but your life was spared and that is indeed a blessing. Life is but a moment, we are a passing vapor. Carpe diem, but as you obviously demonstrate, this means holding tight to the ones you love as well.
