hey all,
when I wanted to remove mine to fit heated grip I quickly gave up on the screw and fixed mole grips round the outside of the weight
unscrewed both in seconds, use a bit of cloth to protect the surface and you should be good

Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?
yip, like many others in the U.K. I ride all year round and can say as usual wet or dry the biggest danger is other peoples driving slow down more (more than that) for bends ,do not accelerate hard even in a straight line and leave twice as much room for braking you should be fine apart from the afo...

Re: Tire Change Charge
:) if you can change a bicycle tyre they're pretty much the same three tyre levers and some brute force (there is a dot on the tyre that goes opposite the valve for balance) front wheel drops out with the caliper still in place there is more involved taking the back wheel off but it does give good a...

Re: MICHELIN City Grip Tires
I found that after six thousand miles the back tyre was indeed losing grip, wheelspinning away from the lights in the rain... whilst this can be fun the fact is the tyre was worn out and as bald as the top of my skull :) replaced with citygrip rear and when the front wears out I will citygrip that t...

look I don't think all car drivers are blind, distracted, petty, murderous lunatics... but on a bike you should treat them as if they are :)

Hey all,
bought bike in August/September
done about 3000 miles getting 132.5 mpg according to trip comp (unless my maths is bad this seems pretty accurate)

Summer is coming

Re: Riding year-long and can't imagine it being the other wa
Yeah I ride year round so far..
only started riding two wheels in September and I just can't bring myself to leave it at home
I've seen rain, -2C, snow, rain and gale force winds so far (often on same day) more rain
heated grips and waterproofs do ok for me
did I mention the rain?

Hey Simon0867,
first off let me say you did the right thing, it may have cost you £300 but your integrity is intact and that is priceless.
I don't really go for any of that religious stuff but I do believe in people,
one day that s**t will come back around

got a PCX (u.k. 125) and I flipping love it
if I get a forza 300 instead will I regret it?
or is it just another stepping stone to that 2300cc super charged thing that is going to kill me?

Re: Is PCX 150 the ultimate transportation for zombie apocal
I take your point all of you but, in a true Zombie apocalypse the priority has to be water and if your scoot can get you to and from the next water stop you are golden we're all fat enough to survive a week or two (be honest) without food but water and not petrol or gas is the immediate and persiste...
