Air filter replacement

I bought a Honda air filter for my 2014 Forza. Does it go in dry or is it supposed to be oiled?

Re: New pads and discs strikes again!

It rains but we have no salty roads unless the northern countys. You are right, brakes suffer and the whole motorcycle does by mixed salt and dirt and must be cleaned very well and use silicon protectors and waxes to keep her in shape. The same problems here in islands or near the sea now i underst...

Re: New pads and discs strikes again!

Went out and tried to look at the rear pads on my Forza...hard to see, but appears to be 1/8" left after about 9200 miles. What's the thickness of new pads? About 5 mm. I thought I had 1/8 but that was actually the steel backing plate and I had none left. I did not know I had none left until I...

Re: New pads and discs strikes again!

Does anyone know the minimum thickness of the Forza 300 rear disc? I wore out my pads down to the metal. My disk is at 0.226 inches thick. Do I need a new disk? So I got down on my hands & knees and rotated the rear wheel to find a Min 5.0 so I guess millimetres. Mine is 5.74 I will have to kee...

Re: New pads and discs strikes again!

So how do get Honda to admit the brake design is defective? Why is it defective ? I did not understand the reason. It is defective because with very little use it wears out much quicker than other motorcycles. It is defective because Honda put a heat source (muffler) right beside a safety critical ...

Re: New pads and discs strikes again!

The Americans could probably get a class action lawsuit going. The Canadian government wouldn't know a motorcycle if they got run over by one. I think Japan would never admit they made a mistake. The UK is usually more worried about who is sleeping with whom in the government??? Does anyone know how...

Re: Warning: Forza 300 discs and pads

Change them every 8k??? The Honda Canada service intervals seem to be different than other countries. My manual says to inspect the Brake Pads Wear every 4000 miles. I was a little late doing the rear 12,800 km inspection (only 200 km) and my pads were completely gone. 12.8 km is 8k miles. The pads ...

Re: Warning: Forza 300 discs and pads

The Forza 300 does seem to have an inherent brake problem that Honda should have sorted long ago - instead they seem to not give a damn. Shameful how many people have the brakes worn away in a short time and how often they need maintenance. At 13,000 km I could not see how much pad I had left on th...

Hammy wrote:How did you mount your lights? Is there a frame mount under there?
The positioning of the lights looks like they would make the turn signals difficult to see for oncoming traffic.

Personally I would try to put them much lower.

Re: New pads and discs strikes again!

Just did service check of the brake pads at 4k and have better than half life left in the pads. I thought for sure I had a sticking rear caliper as the rear wheel is not much of a spinner and the disc gets really hot . I think the heat is more of a design issue and proximity to the exhaust. I too t...

I tried that and had trouble with the screwing. I took too long and let out the air.

Re: Forza hash rough ride------ after market high dollar sho

Again. ...check air in tires youself. Follow owner's manual. Forza rides like a Buick if tires and preload correct compared to small scoots. Dealers will throw 35 in both tires from their preset tank..... Call it done. Fish Air pressures are good. I have several gauges and find them all difficult t...
